The Bunker: Dining with Tactical Precision
When I first heard about The Bunker, I geared up for a military-style experience—maybe MREs, barbed wire décor, and a waiter barking orders like a drill sergeant. Turns out, it’s just a restaurant… but at least the food didn’t require a field manual to enjoy.
The menu is stacked with comfort food that’s ready for deployment straight to your stomach. The burgers? Hearty enough to fuel a full-scale invasion. The fries? Crispy, golden, and perfectly executed—no strategic errors there. And the service? Let’s just say they operate with military efficiency (or at least close enough that I didn’t have to send up a distress flare to get my drink refilled).

One of two drinks from the bar was wrong; the other drink was a compromise since what was ordered wasn't available. The main courses were both horribly bland, unless you count the excessive amount of salt on the grilled veggies. I could go on, but... I really felt bad for the server. None of it was her fault, but she had to deliver the bad news every time they were out of something or got it wrong in the kitchen or bar. With some real passion, it could be so much better than it is. As it stands, it seems...
