This was our first time back since its been rebuilt. The parking is better and the building is a lot nicer with a really comfortable, bright interior. The menu has expanded and has a lot of delicious looking selections. We went in for breakfast and were seated immediately, keep in mind this is the off season. We were waited on pretty quickly. We both ordered coffee and a side of milk. My wife went with a half order of French toast and a side of bacon. I opted for the Cape Hatteras omelet with hash browns & biscuit. The Cape Hatteras is made with bacon, sausage, ham, steak, onions, pepper, and cheddar cheese topped with sour cream and salsa. My wife was really pleased with her French toast and bacon. She had a small issue that we spoke to server about, but nothing major. My meal was phenomenal. The omelet was perfectly cooked & mixed well. Just an excellent omelet that was the perfect size. The hash browns were crispy and hot. I wish I had opted for the toast instead of the biscuit. It isn't scratch-made. Overall, great meal in a much nicer building. Just opt for the toast.

Angie's Lighthouse Café came as highly recommended from friends that I was visiting in the area, and their recommendation definitely didn't disappoint. Angie's is a homey, busy little joint just off the coast that provides a family-friendly atmosphere - all while serving up absolutely delicious homecooked meals including selections of seafood and comfort food. Not to mention, oh boy, those cheesy grits. Setting the cheesy grits fantasy aside, Angie's sets forth some very fair pricing on all of their delicious meals - whether it be breakfast staples like omelets, or more lunch-oriented options like wraps and seafood platters. I decided to go down the route of a pseudo-shrimp-and-grits by picking out a seafood platter with their scrumptious crab cake and perfectly fried large shrimp alongside cheesy grits. At this point, I entered a food coma. But everything tasted fresh and was obviously prepared very well, while the friendly service capped off the at-home feel.

We come to the Outer Banks once a month and love trying new places to eat. Found this little honey hole and boy did it hit the spot! If you're looking for some good ol' country food like Grandma used to make, this is the place for you! The shrimp and grits were OUT OF THIS WORLD DELICIOUS!😋 We also ordered French toast with bacon, homemade biscuits and gravy, the lighthouse beacon special with city ham, pancakes with strawberries, eggs sunny side up lookin' back at'cha, hash browns, and last but not least fried okra bc who goes to a Mom and Pop's joint without getting that!?! Every single thing we ordered was cooked to perfection, even down to the coffee and sweet tea lol! We felt very welcomed and at home. Ask for "Aunt Kathy with a K"! She has a beautiful smile, amazing personality, and will make you feel like you fit right in. Everything was perfect from beginning to end. We will definitely be going back! 🥰 Thanks y'all! Till next time! ~Alexis and Ryan 🌺

Obviously a "boys club" where they take care of regular customers before everyone else. When you first arrive the building is obviously a small home owned business and inviting. The waiting area turned out to be hot with an outdated, and too small to be effective, window A/C unit with ceiling fans that would hit anyone over 5'10". After putting our name on the list (party of 6 adults and 2 highchair children) , we were told 20-30mins. Which is understandable due to their size. After an hour of watching group after group go in and be seated I went in to find out what was going on. They said they were having a hard time because our party was so big. Yet they had just sat a group of four (who didn't even have drinks yet) with a table next to them that was dirty and needed to be cleaned. So I told them we could split into two tables of four to make it easier for them to sit us. The guy said okay, then sat a group of two at a clean four top as we stood there and then a group of three at a six top table that were obviously friends and repeat customers. When I asked why we couldn't have the six top, they said it was because we had two kids. Then I enquirer about sitting groups in front of us, and they said they were smaller....

I absolutely LOVE Angie's lighthouse. Everything about this restaurant is AMAZING!!! (Except for them being closed Mondays & and Tuesdays lol), I have NEVER received a meal that wasn't 100% delicious. If I could, my family would get EVERY meal from Angie's Lighthouse. That's just how amazingly delicious the food is.

Now the staff. I've NEVER received poor service from them. The staff look like they genuinely enjoy their work and want to be there (unfortunately, you don't see that at many dining establishments anymore). The love and enjoyment they have is felt as soon as you walk in the door. No matter how busy they get (it can get overwhelmingly busy), somehow they are still attentive and NEVER forget about you, lose their cool, or that pleasant vibe.

Lastly, the appearance. Angie's Lighthouse is a small restaurant, but they keep the dining area, silverware, plates, and cups spotless. There has NEVER been anything floating in my cup, leftover food on my dishes or silverware. My table has ALWAYS been clean with no food on the floor from...
