This place is definitely a hometown favorite. You can tell the majority (if not all) of their business comes from the locals. A group of us were referred to this bar/grill. Bloody Mary's were ok. Salad bar was basic but I love salad so I was satisfied. The Mrs ordered a steak medium rare and it came medium, closer to well done. The steak had flavor. The kid ordered a 5oz steak medium and it came out well done. I ordered a Buffalo grilled chicken salad. I could be wrong but I believe I was served canned chicken. My reasoning is the the chicken came our in shredded chunks and it was refrigerator cold. I suppose it could have been cooked earlier that day and then refrigerated but I highly doubt that's the case based off previous experience. Our server was kind but wasn't very detail oriented. A man with with what I can only describe as a "Mustachio" mustache (more than likely the owner) was super kind and welcoming. I suppose it's what I would expect of a country hometown bar/grill. I had higher hopes since I was referred here. I can say I won't be recommending this place nor will I revisit but I do wish...
Read moreWe love goin here! Friendly staff and atmosphere. Close to home and just inviting. Anyway finally decided to write a review for them. We usually go later to grab a bite to eat and have some drinks. Staff is always attentive and super friendly. They keep the cold drinks topped off. Now the food. Everything we’ve always have gotten has been fricken awesome. Always hot and fresh. We both got the chicken parm sandwich the other night and they were damn good. Nice think piece of chicken breast, right amount of sauce and cheese, and the bun was the perfect match actually. I usually prefer a Turano roll but the bun fits this sandwich perfect. I got onion rings and they were delicious as well. Oh and we started with fried mushrooms which were awesome! Pipping hot!! Anyway this place is really laid back and a nice place to go for some drinks and a bite to eat. Give it a try you won’t be...
Read moreCame here for nostalgic value - our family wanted to reminisce about the good ol' days where my pops grew up, and take a look at my grandma's old house with the wrap around porch.
Now about Mustachio's - we stopped in for a quick snack and some drinks. Drinks were great, and the gayer bites (yes, actual Alligator) were much better than I would have ever expected. Similar to chicken yet more flavor!
Men's restroom has an interesting sticker on the stall for those who are willing to go and check it out...I don't think it's Yelp appropriate, unfortunately.
Alyssa, our server, was probably one of the most kind hearted humans I've met in a long damn time, and a great deal of the reason I love small towns. She wasn't short of charisma or...
