We come here frequently and this is the first time that we have been thoroughly disappointed. We ordered one vanilla milkshake and 2 banana splits. Milkshake was rather quickly given but the 2 banana splits were a sloppy, soupy mess. It would've been easier to eat it with a straw then the spoon we were given. It came in a plastic bowl on a paper plate just dripping with whipped cream and caramel sauce. It was mostly melted ice cream with peanuts, spattered with whipped cream and dripping with caramel. We couldn't even finish it. It was so difficult to eat we lost our appetite. Hopefully if we stop by again it...
Read moreNot a great experience for me. The original ice cream I ordered wasn't good. It had too many chunky almond pieces in it. I asked for a replacement and they gave me a way less full cup with little ice cream, it was mostly a hard chocolate dip that stuck to the sides of the cup and was a lardy and flavorless texture. I couldn't get a good bite out of either ice creams.

Read moreWhile visiting the area recently, we saw that this place was still open. Back in the 60’s (yes, the 60’s) I would spend summers at my grandmother’s in Richmondale. My aunts would bring me to this ice cream stand often. (Sorry, no idea what the name of it was then.) It was great to see the ice cream is as good now as I remember it.
