Hometown Diner and Deli — Restaurant in Carlisle

There service is great the waitresses go out the way to make sure to come check on you 2 or 3 times while you're eating. I've been there twice so far both times I haven't been disappointed in the food that they serve you get decent portions if you leave out there hungry it's your own fault.

Burgers are fresh patted out or was when I ordered them first time eating there ! They were thick not thin like these other restaurants want charge u 10 to 12 dollars. Its either smashed so thin or frozen patties !! I've had one of there daily special plates spaghetti, garlic bread, cottage cheese, amazing freshly made side salad like a salad supose to be prepared everything in it was fresh chopped up carrots,tomatoes,cucumber, egg, croutons, onion if you wanted some diced. $7.99 tell me were you can go these days to eat a decent homemade meal for $8.00 an be satisfied!!! I'll definitely drive 20 minutes to eat there again !!! They have daily lunch...

My first and last time eating here. The whole restaurant was so smokey from deap fryer it was hard to breath. With having loung condition asthma as i do. The condiments were gross to touch. The restaurant was dirty. And when I suggested them be whipped off the employee that was mopping I learned talking to chaser that the employee was the owners son. He said to me he had listened to me complaining all night and that they didn't have time to whip them everyday. And I told him they should be whipped every time their used. And that that attitude says this business doesn't care. And he continued to act as My as my concerns didn't matter. I hope that someone takes time to care before...

Thought I’d bring the family to this place for dinner, we walked in the door a little before 4:30pm and was not greeted or acknowledged. We had a seat and when the waiter came to the table she told us that the grill was closed because they already closed the grill for the day and they always shut it down 30 mins before closing, even tho they were still open till 5 pm The people that work / own this place just don’t care! Here is some customer feedback If your doors are open until 5 pm your grill should be open till 5pm!!
