We were a group of three and decided to have a late lunch at a recently opened Italian restaurant in Carlsbad, NM. It wasn’t very crowded, so we were seated right away. The ambience was decent—nothing special, a bit on the dull side but comfortable enough. For a starter, we ordered the spinach and artichoke dip. The presentation wasn’t great, but the flavor made up for it—it was actually very tasty. For the main course, we had a Margherita pizza and the carbonara linguine. Again, the presentation could use some improvement, and the carbonara didn’t quite have the authentic flavor I’ve experienced at other Italian restaurants. The service, however, was good—attentive and friendly. Overall, while there’s room for improvement in presentation and flavor, I would consider returning to give them another try.

Wait time was a little long (1-1.5 hours) for parties of 3 or more but for a party of 2 at 5:00-6:00 pm wait time was around 30 minutes. The food is to die for! Try the bread with the Pink Vodka sauce, you won't regret it! Service was amazing, even though the staff are swamped. My wife got the chicken Maradonia and I got the shrimp fettuccine alfredo. (Pictures attached) The atmosphere was great too. Very faux italian which is fun and homely. 5 STARS ALL AROUND!

The food was delicious with generous portions, and the staff was incredibly professional. My husband and I decided to try this restaurant for our anniversary and wanted to stay local on a Wednesday night. They were so accommodating and even gave us a nice booth. Even though they were busy, everyone was attentive, friendly, and made us feel really welcome. A wonderful experience all around!

The overall quality of the food was very disappointing. Our party of seven did not enjoy any of the dishes we ordered. The lasagna did not resemble traditional lasagna; it was essentially reheated meat sauce that appeared to have been prepared earlier in the day. The Alfredo sauce tasted canned, and the pizza had an unpleasant flavor reminiscent of dish soap.

The ā€œfresh breadā€ was hard, the fountain drinks were watered down, and nothing tasted genuinely fresh. The Philly cheesesteak sub was particularly unsatisfactory — it consisted of a large bun with only a small strip of meat. We also waited approximately 20 minutes for our food to arrive.

The only positive aspect of our experience was our waitress, who provided excellent service. However, the total bill was over $200, which felt unreasonable given the mediocre quality...
