The Carrot Top — Restaurant in Carlsbad

We were in the area to visit the Carlsbad Caverns. My sister is vegan so we were looking for somewhere good to eat lunch. We Googled and found Carrot Top. The food was absolutely amazing. We got our food to go but it smelled so good we ended up eating in the parking lot. I had a chicken feta wrap. The chicken tasted fresh and was well seasoned. All of the ingredients were so fresh. My younger sister had a California dream panini. My sister who is vegan had the Beet Root to Yourself wrap. The food was so fantastic we ended up ordering more food to go. First time seeing this place on DoorDash, we ordered a lettuce-wrapped Luziana and Gym Rat salad. A paper napkin was stuck to the melted cheese on my Luziana and it is by no means wrapped in lettuce. I paid EXTRA to have it wrapped in lettuce, since they give that as an option! The quinoa was overcooked, but has a good enough flavor to overlook it. We paid EXTRA for a Portobello mushroom cap with the salad and got 3 slices of cap. 3 slices is not a whole cap, which is what I PAID EXTRA FOR. At least the drinks came as expected. Went there at 2 pm on a Saturday. Gate closed, no sign with hours. It was in a neighborhood, and it appeared to be in someone's yard. Saw the trailer and the tables to eat ate. Very confusing. My experience was a 0 as in none.....non existant experience.
