I was in town for work. Found that this was the only place to get lunch. So we stopped. All 8 tables were full. With two others waiting to be seated. No problem we got ours to go. Noticed most of the customers had their food. I placed my order. Soft taco. Asked for cheese dip to be on top man said “oh no no we don’t do that here” I thought first place I have ever heard that didn’t. Anyways I paid then my co worker placed her order. Just a classic ACP. Some time went by. To go orders were being picked up. Tables were being served. And after about 10 mins I received my order. We waited. And waited. A couple came in, got seated, ordered, received their food, all while we are still standing there waiting on her food. We asked how much longer “it’s coming it’s coming we are busy” I said that’s not the issue when people that came in 15 mins after we did and are eating and we are waiting on a simple ACP. After 35 mins she got her food. We left. Needless to say our lunch was over. We get back to the job site and we have some time to eat. I opened my box. And it was upside down. The soft taco was open on top and everything else was underneath it. Not sure what happened there. I was not given a fork or anything. So I had to eat what I could with my fingers. Of course cold due to waiting on the other order. It wasn’t all that good. Definitely not worth the wait. Maybe this was just an off day. But this was my experience. If I am hungry again I’ll go get a snickers bar at the...

Welllll... that didn’t go the way I dreamed it would.

Let’s start this out with some bummer truths that may explain why Fiesta Grill wasn’t a fiesta in my mouth: I have an allium allergy. This means no garlic or onions. Which. Are. In. Eeeeverything good.

I ordered the fish tacos (3) a la carte No pico de gallo No tomatillo sauce Plus avocado

I got: a greased up fish fillet on a corn tortilla with a modest sliver of avocado. Y’all. It tasted like oily nothing.

We’re talking no pepper, nada. Maybe a whisper of salt spoken to it at its time of conception, but that’s it.

Ate the first one and was like... yeah. This is not good. I’ll take it to-go and put dome sauerkraut on it and some seasonings at the house.

I go to pay and I receive my bill: $20. For three tacos. The fish wasn’t even crisped up or browned. We’re talking oiled-up fish. Not pan fried or golden. And a tiny slice of avocado On a corn tortilla x3 With no beans/rice For Twenty Doll hairs

To me, that just isn’t worth it. Left a $4 tip and said so-long.

The service was authentic and great, and I guess their prices mean they pay their employees well. Maybe I’ll be back. I’m just never ordering this...

So I'm from durham nc... I've lived in Raleigh... Recently moved to chapel hill and these guys are right across the street. I always felt like I woule never find a place with as good of mexican food as cosmic cantina on 9th street in durham.... Well not only have i found that at fiesta grill... I feel they actually SURPASS. This may be my favorite mexicsn restaurant of all time... Food is spectacular... And the Customer service is OUTSTANDING. The guy thst runs the place is very friendly snd engaged.... And every single employee greets u with a smile and a hello! And to some the dishes MAY seem just a BIT pricey but honestly it's well worth it... And id spend money here before id spend money somewhere else with a similar menu... We all heard "you get what you pay for"; while that is true... I honestly feel like HERE... You get what u pay for with a lil extra, a smile, and a dish made with love. 10...

I don't know how they do it. All the food is authentic, consistent, and delicious. Fast, friendly, accommodating service includes no hassle, no extra charge substituons -- which makes fussy diets much more possible than you can imagine for Mexican food. Keto is especially easy. Big surprise! When I drooled into my plate this time, I realized that the $14 cost with full service was FAR cheaper and more delicious than what it costs me to replicate this dish from scratch with everything bought at Food Land. I was considering a meal delivery service because I'm so overwhelmed with work and stress. That would be insane since Fiesta Grill is only 2 miles from my home

We drive by here all the time & finally we were near here at lunch time. Staff was attentive. Food was amazing. Our burritos were enormous! I took a pix with my fork on it just for measurement. They were delicious. The chips seem like they are actually freshly made from tortillas instead of from a bag. Salsa was perfect. Definitely worth the drive. I can see they do a good takeout business. We got there when they first opened and there were already orders ready for pickup. I noticed their food safety rating was 100 - very impressive. We go to countless upscale restaurants with lower ratings - so I think 100 rating needs an recognition & applause 👏🏼

The enchiladas mole are the best in the Triangle, IMO. I'm told the sauce takes three days to make, and the flavor is superior to any others I've tried. Their salsa has a nice bite to it, although the chips are not to my liking. The ones at most other restaurants in the area are thin, light, and served warm. These are never warm, hard, and borderline overfried. The owner couldn't be nicer and more cheerful. There's two waitresses, one very nice and welcoming and the other not so much. Between her and the hard chips, if the mole wasn't as outstanding as it is, I wouldn't make the effort to come here.
