This is one of the first Vietnamese restaurants I have visited and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The fried rice is excellent, with your choice of chicken, beef, shrimp, or combo. The fried rice is not heavy or oily at all, and it was a nice change from the Chinese fried rice that I'm used to.
The portions are large and satisfying. I also had the Thai tea for the first time. The owner said it's a combination of black oolong tea leaves and turmeric, which gives it the orange color. It was great. The owner also makes an amazing iced coffee that was excellent. And believe me I drink a lot of coffee 🙂.
I had gone there today with a friend for lunch and shortly before we were about to leave we were treated to a severe thunderstorm, and I mean it was pouring down. You can imagine my surprise when the owner grabbed his umbrella and escorted my friend to the car, and then came back for me. One thing about this family owned restaurant, they went out of the way to make our visit comfortable. No glitz, no glamor, just good food at reasonable prices with both indoor and...
Read moreI have now eaten here for 3 days in a row and can confidently say that their food is some of the best food I’ve had in the area in a long time. The pho is beyond comforting and delicious, the meat is always tender and seasoned very well. The fried rice is tasty and buttery and yummy. The chicken wings are to die for. The EGG ROLLS (looking at you Anthony) are crispy and fried to perfection, while the SPRING ROLLS are traditional and amazing (please keep your ignorance to a minimum when posting reviews on places of different cultures). The staff are beyond friendly and inviting. I strongly recommend coming here, either for take out or sitting in on the newly renovated interior (you can even eat outside!). It is worth the money (some people might see it as pricey, looking at you again Anthony) but please point out another place just as good as this one in the...
Read moreWow. What an incredible experience for a quick, delicious lunch. The Pho Valley (their signature soup) is what I ordered. What a clean dish. Some Pho is murky, or muddy with a bland, undistinguished taste. The Pho Valley is by far, the best Pho I have ever had. It builds upon the palette in layers. Spicy, sweet, savory all hit you at separate points in each bite. A perfect blend of spices accentuate the flavor points of the soup. The rice noodles are cooked to perfect consistency. The meat is tender, and filled with the flavor of the broth, and the meatballs were a nice addition to the already surprisingly delicious meal. My son had the Canh Ga (Chicken wings) and loved them.
I cannot wait to go back, and sample the rest of the menu. Thank you so much Pho Valley for a great lunch, and hopefully many...
