Porky’s Pizza Trof is a spot worth squealing about, delivering portions so generous they could satisfy the hungriest crowd. My steak and cheese sub was a standout—fileted wide open, oven-roasted to perfection, and loaded with crisp lettuce and tomato, spilling over a basket that felt more like a feast than a meal. The hot parm wings were fantastic, with just the right zing to keep things exciting without overwhelming the palate.
My wife’s salad was a winner too—substantial, green, and fresh, a solid choice even for a meat-lover like me. My daughter’s 10-inch pizza? Toppings galore, like they’d poured the whole works on it—she couldn’t stop raving. My son’s huge burger was a hit, though he didn’t finish it, thanks to the irresistible Piggy Knuckles. Those little rolls, bathed in seasoned butter and parmesan, are pure magic—addictive enough to need a warning label. They brightened a dreary day, and honestly, carbs have never tasted so good.
The atmosphere was typical of a bustling family joint—nothing fancy, but comfortable. Bar seating was an option, our table had plenty of space, and TVs and familiar tunes kept the vibe lively. The staff was friendly and on the ball, making sure everything ran smoothly.
If it weren’t three hours from home, we’d be regulars for sure. It’s my favorite Trof yet—left us full, happy, and already plotting a return trip. Porky’s knows how to deliver a meal worth...
Read moreTerrible! Terrible! First off, they must take the phone off the hook. I tried calling for a half an hour and just got a busy signal. I had heard sometimes it's easier to just go there and order, so we did. There was a man waiting when we got there. He had called ahead and still had to wait 40 minutes because they messed up his other. Another man had been waiting awhile and asked the waitress or whatever her title is why he was waiting so long. She rudely told him that the kitchen was backed up. "I don't know what else to tell you" "What do you want me to say?". Very snippy and rude. I said excuse me to which she spun around impatiently, while a kid came from the kitchen and asked me what. I asked if I could place an order. They both yelled NO! I was informed that they weren't taking any orders for at least a half hour so the kitchen could catch up. A voice message on the phone stating that, or any response on the phone for that matter, would have saved me the drive down there. We were willing to order and wait in the bar for our food to be done. More money lost. My money spends everywhere. But it will NEVER be...
Read moreI was so excited to have a cheeseburger sub tonight. We went in and it was busy, but we all have worked food service so we understood. We ordered and waited a good while for our food. When one of us ordered a cheeseburger sub with cheese and pickle only, she asked if they wanted just cheese and pickle and no meat? Obviously that was not the case. We ordered two more cheeseburger subs with everything and waited. The two cheeseburgers subs with everything, had no meat! None! When we told the waitress she said ''yes they do" so we showed her. She said "oh sorry, do you want them remade?" We said yes, to go please. I was waiting on my sub and was eating my pickles from the bun then found a blondish/brown hair in my cheese. I pulled it out and we just said nevermind on the to go subs. The waitress then proceeded to come over and say "where is the hair?!" She then got even ruder and told us we could just leave and not worry about the bill. Absolutely the worst food experience I've ever had in my life. I don't think I have ever had one issue at a restaurant ever, but I will never have one here again because we will...
