Sportsmen's Inn — Restaurant in Carroll Township

Funny story, I actually got pulled over here. Well, I pulled into Sportsman's parking lot while I was being pulled over, by a cop out of his jurisdiction (and for a bogus reason) mind you, but that's another review pending elsewhere...It wasn't the first time I've been to this bar and it damn sure won't be the last. I would typically stop in here after a nice long hike with my fiance. There is ALWAYS good people here and great conversations to be had. My fiance is no longer with us, so it's kind of funny today of all days was the day I got pulled (out of jurisdiction) here, especially since I had just seen his daughter for the first time since his funeral over a year ago. Thank you to the patron or the bar for the beer, it meant more to me than you know. I hadn't been able to come back til today and it damn sure won't be...

The place was completely dead at 7pm on a thursday. I stopped because i was hungry and the sign said bar and grill. However, when i asked about a menu the bartender said that most of what is on the menu they didn't have anymore. Also the grill and fryer were both turned off so if i wanted to eat I was limited to cold food only. I wont be returning to that...

We made an impromptu road trip & decided to stay in Montevideo. We pulled in at 11:30. We did wake up the gentleman that was working there but he quickly got us a room.
