I was in this location on Sunday, May 24 around 10:30. I walked in and there were four other people waiting. They were being helped but it was so uncomfortable how upset/irritated the girl in the camouflage sweatshirt seemed. I work in customer service so I know how important it is to at least acknowledge the customer but I was not acknowledged. Not once the whole 15 minutes I was there. Even when everyone received their order and left, I stood there by myself waiting to give my order. While I was waiting, I noticed the girl in the black tshirt, who seemed very kind, was obviously waiting on her boyfriend. She drew a heart on his cup and stood there for about 6 minutes after he paid and they were talking while I was waiting. They were being silly together and flirting, it was so unprofessional while, again, I just stood there waiting. The other girl in camouflage was standing against the counter on her phone. I can only hope someone would let me know this about my staff while I was out of the business. Once the boy left, the girl in the black shirt started straightening lids. The other girl was on her phone. They both looked at me but zero acknowledgement. I would even have been okay to hear, "We'll be right with you." If the girl on the phone was on a break, that's understandable but maybe take your break elsewhere or it looks like I'm being ignored. Even if she was on her break, the girl flirting with her boyfriend was not. I ended up leaving and didn't even get to order my coffee. I'm sure the response of the girls would be.."We were busy or we were cleaning up." No, they weren't. I have a team of a couple hundred people and I've heard and seen it all. This was just not a good experience and I hope it was...
Read moreI love the branch they have in New Oxford, so I was thrilled to learn that they were putting another branch in Fairfield! The Miney Branch location of Deja Brew is a little small, but still has all the quality and heart put into their coffee, bakery, and service! There's lots of sweets, both gluten free and regular to choose from (they also make dog treats for furry friendos!). The bakery genuinely has freshly made stuff, it's all lovingly homemade by their bakery. The coffee is also excellent with lots of flavors to choose from, but they have more than just coffee to choose from. They have milkshakes, seasonal drinks like cider, and teas too! Not to mention they also sell coffee bean blends for brewing at home, a microwave to heat up the scones and breakfast sandwiches they offer, and they also have treats like freeze dried candies! This location used to be a bank, so they have a drive-thru set up as well! Since the location is so small and popular, it can get a bit crowded. I would love to see a seperate line just for ordering because I think that would help with the line congestion. I would also love to see the menu, special drinks list, sweets, and flavor list on bigger signs, maybe even written on the glass out front so people can view the menu from outside too. I love this place and if you like good stuff, Deja Brew...

One of the best things about this place is their amazing selection of gluten-free pastries—such a rare find! Everything I’ve tried has been delicious and clearly made with care. Pair that with their fantastic coffee, and it’s easily one of my favorite local spots.
If you’re looking for a warm, welcoming café with great drinks, tasty gluten-free treats, and a relaxed vibe, this is the place to go....
