Went there today after scheduling a tee time for me and my son. When I arrived they said I could not take my son because he is not old enough to ride by himself because of the executive order. This is not fact because the executive order states anyone in a house hold can ride together. He is 7 years old FYI. The female manager also stated because of his age he is a liability and it’s too dangerous for him to golf even if we walked. Her recommendation was for us not to golf and leave the course. We drove a half hour to get to the course and my son was very disappointed and I was truly embarrassed because he was looking forward to golf being in junior golf the last two years and wanted a day with his dad. Luckily I contacted Rattle run and explained the situation. They were very receptive and got my son and myself on the course right away and encouraged junior golf. After reading reviews of Michigan Meadows it was probably a blessing we didn’t play there. There course looks horrible and seems it hasn’t been maintained in years. If you want a top notch course for the same money and great management go to Rattle Run or anywhere else besides this hole...
Read moreA beautiful morning turned into a horrible day because of the condition of this course. Every cart path is flooded with 2 feet of water, making everyone drive all over the greens tearing them up beyond repair. The grass on the outside the fairway is so SO high you instantly lose a ball and that’s if your golf cart isn’t stuck in the mud searching. If you make it to the green beware! The greens looks like a ran down mini golf course all dead and beat up with mini chunks missing. I’m not even over exaggerating this course needs to be shut down to allow time for repair, constantly having carts all over is just tearing it up even worse. Even after it drys out this will just turn into a course filled with giant tire holes. The grounds keeper told me the owners refuse and the staff is extremely rude when asked about a refund or playing other holes twice because of skipping the horrible shape ones....
Read moreMy wife and I stopped and had lunch. We enjoyed the chefs lunch special of the day, which were 2 burritos served with rice and refried beans. The delicious portions were very generous, prompting a to go box for my wife; I shamelessly devoured my serving. We were furthermore delighted by their crispy, warm tortillas and dip appetizer that just primed our palettes for the aforementioned delectable burritos. The service was prompt, courteous, friendly, and generally made us feel very welcome. The restaurant itself is relaxing and comfortable with amazingly beautiful views of the golf course. Furthermore, the prices on the menu, for the quality and selection that you'll receive, are very reasonable. We also were able to meet the owners, Mark and Camille; lovely people who genuinely care about their customers and provide a wonderful, professional dining experience. I highly, highly recommend...
