Sad seeing all these great reviews and wishing I could say the same. Hate to pull the race card because it is 2023, like come on, but I have no other reason to not think so. A family friend highly recommend the place and their build your own Bloody Marys. It looked like a fun atmosphere. We was hoping to enjoy some food. It was my family friend, fiance, myself and my daughter. The man bartending was not welcoming to us like he was to everybody else that came in. He could not even look at us when we ordered a drink. Did not say a word. Several times we asked for a drink or a question and he acted as he could not hear us even though he was literally right next to us and the music was very low. I could go on about a few other things as well.. It was just very uncomfortable and awkward. We went down the road to Tway's Lighthouse Lounge and totally different. We was welcomed loudly and warmly. They have a couple slots and a kids play room. Highly recommend Tway's Lighthouse!

A reply to the owner: None of us was intoxicated?? The guys had a couple drinks and I had one??. They guys were planning on having a good time and all of was planning on having some food. Until how we was treated. And yes he grabbed a cucumber slice right after building his bloody Mary to give to our daughter. The man was not hard of hearing for anybody else in the bar. Lol smh. But yes he did slam the door going out but no one knocked over any chairs. What does you giving my daughter a straw have to do with anything? But since you brought it up it did take a couple of tries to get your attention when you was right on the other side of the bar. Blown away by the response. WOW... Also the bartender had no problem with another man at the bar going to bloody Mary bar to put stuff on his sandwich after we grabbed 1 slice of cucumber Right After making our bloody Mary.

You must of been questioning the family friend that you usually are welcoming too, to have found out my race. To even be mentioning it. I have never heard of tribe Black Bear. So from that I am assuming she was a Caucasian lady wanting to claim she had Native American in her. Don't Shame me. SHAME ON YOU for the disrespect you two have showed, also falsely accusing me of being intoxicated with my child on my review to make yourself look better. Even if he is hard of hearing which the family friend said he might be the last few times my fiance practically yelled and was still ignored. When I asked you nicely for a replacement straw you ignored me, until you responded...

Walked in, and there were only 4 other people in the place, not counting the staff. Started off great! The guy that took our order used a joke I do with my kids all of the time. We loved the vibes. Then more and more people were coming in, and to me, that is awesome! Must be the right place to be, or so I thought. Then we saw people who came in after us getting their food before us. So I don't know if our ticket was bumped by accident or if the locals were being processed first.

Nice place, but it shouldn't take over 45 minutes to make fried bar food when we had our order placed...
