Absolutely loved it! We sat outside on the deck during twilight hours. Spectacular view. The food was delicious. Never had Brussel sprouts before but the baby Brussel sprouts were awesome. A little sweet and crunchy. The white wine butter clam sauce was excellent. Steak was nice and tender and the ribs I had were very good. One of the best things was it's pet friendly. Dogs are allowed and they serve them water and treats. Also if you have a boat they have dock side service minus alcohol. It was a very nice experience overall and would absolutely recommend it to any visitor. A must go.

Wow, where do I start? The view during sunset was amazing and definitely the best view on the lake. Not to mention the amazing hustle of our server, Anna-Marie. My legs hurt watching her run up and down those stairs, made me feel bad asking for more ketchup! She didn’t complain once and took each request with a smile and “of course I can do that!”. While my wife got a burger and fries, I couldn’t help but get the hanger steak (and couldn’t forget to add lobster). Everything was amazing, we both licked the plate clean. If you like perfect service, you should go here!!!!

We’ve been vacationing at this lake every summer for the past 25 years, and part of our tradition has always been enjoying a nice dinner at The Lakehouse. Unfortunately, after tonight’s experience, we will never return.

We arrived on a quiet, rainy Thursday evening — there was only one other table seated, and no one was dining outside. Our party included myself, my husband (a respected federal police officer), our two children, and their grandparents. We were promptly seated and politely placed our drink and appetizer orders with the server.

Only minutes later, a manager named Alex approached our table. Without any context or reason, he began questioning who would be driving. He then blatantly accused my husband — who had not had a single drink all day — of drinking. When my father calmly explained he would be the one driving, I expressed how shocked and offended I was by the accusation. Instead of deescalating the situation, Alex told us, “If you don’t like it, leave.”

We were stunned. His tone was condescending, his facial expression was hostile, and his approach lacked any professionalism or common courtesy. To make such accusations in front of our children was not only inappropriate — it was downright insulting. There was nothing rowdy or disrespectful about our group. For a nearly empty restaurant, it’s beyond belief that a manager would treat guests this way.

It’s a shame to see such poor management at a place that once held special memories for our family. Alex’s behavior was unacceptable and completely out of line. This experience has left us hurt and disappointed — and a long-standing tradition has come to a very...

If I could give 0 stars for the encounter we just had I would. Ordered over the phone for dockside pickup. And when we arrived I got out and asked a waitress in passing where I go to pick up a food order. She mentioned quickly to go up to the bar. Without further direction of where to go I guessed and went all the way up the stairs to the indoor bar and sitting area. The bartender was more focused on the backed up drink tickets she had. Then finely went to the kitchen for a total of two seconds to see where our food order was. She came back and said the hostess downstairs has it. Already annoyed, I went back down to the water front deck where a girl at the hostess stand didn’t have a clue what I was talking about and tried sending me back to the bar upstairs. Another came and she handed me a bag that was sitting on the floor. And when I tried handing her a card to pay she told me I had to go all the way back to the top bar and pay there. So annoyed and baffled she couldn’t just take my payment. I did just that and it was the absolute last straw for us. After loading back into the boat and leaving. we found that our drinks that we paid for weren’t in the bag and the food was either wrong or ice cold and soggy. Probably because I was sent running up and down the stairs trying to chase the order myself. None of the waitresses seemed to care then I was visibly annoyed and none of the seemed to care when I expressed that I was told wrong directions to begin with. They were all more worried about the paying customers that were sitting at tables. Very very very...
