Knuckleheads Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Catoosa

Terrible owner and barmaid. Went in kind of late last Saturday night, had a burger and 2 beers. It was pretty quiet, especially for a Saturday night. I liked that but I think I found out why when I tried to pay my bill. Barmaid ran my bank card, said it didn't work. It was only card I had, I knew there was money in the account. I offered to walk to an ATM or what ever needed, I even offered to work it off - the bill was less than $20. She blew hot and said you aren't going anywhere. She called the owner, told him her story and that she wanted to call police. He told her that was theft and yes, call the police. Long story short; police came, they said they get these calls from this bar all the time, police were nice, worked thru it with me but I had to call family to get another card to bill it to. I left, checked my account and found that sure enough, there was plenty of money in it. Then I recalled the barmaid had to call the owner back to get instructions to process the credit card my dad had given her over the phone. Apparently, she didn't know how to process bank debit cards any better than she did credit cards. Most unfriendly people I have met in a long time; both her and the owner. AL the owner was rude and made us feel very uncomfortable. He constantly complained about how broke he is. He was also a very unpleasant host, in regular conversastion with his customers he had a combative and cocky know it all tone, and even bantered back in fourth with customers in a condescending way. I feel overcharged for drinks, and my card was even double-charged. The bill is not itemized and his total bill was outrageous and unjustifiable! I can't make sense of it. He claims to only serve double shots, which I suspect is just a way to overcharge. He blames COVID for the empty bar, but all the other bars in the area are packed with people and thriving. The truth is, his attitude is driving customers away, not COVID. His constant negativity about the cost of running his business, from napkins to straws, makes for an unpleasant atmosphere. Definitely my kind of place my number one get away just down to earth people and not a bunch of kids not a big crowd no trouble Al's going to keep them in place and I have no problem just keep the drama at home love it me and the other half of course thanks...
