Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Cedar Rapids

Who ever is working the register today (didn’t give me a recipe so don’t know their name) is an absolute worse! She was snappy, wouldn’t make eye contact, and to top it off had the audacity to yell at me! Waited 15 mins for my food with two boys. Simple order but took xxx amount of time. So when another customer informs me my food was ready (I stepped outside cause the boys where yelling at this point) I walk in to grab it. She assisting a new guess, so I see my bag, hesitating peek in and notice it’s mine. So I grab it head on out. As I’m walking out the door this girl, yells did she just take that food! Yeah I GRABBED MY FOOD! THAT IVE OVER PAID FOR AND LEFT! She was being short with me from the start so I didn’t expect anything less from her! Oh got him and my cheese burgers was scooped with condiments and falling apart. It looked like it has been sitting! So upset considering we walking to this...

Terrible place personally. They forgot to give me my card back I had to remind them. They just set it down on their counter. They forgot a spoon and i had to ask for one. The blizzards were melted and spilled all over us on 2 minute drive home. This place apparently also doesn't honor diary queen deals just because. So don't bring app or any thing from official dairy queen here. If I could rate lower I would.

First problem was with my app and not being able to use the coupon. I drove here from the SE side of town on my lunch break and they gave me the wrong burger. I called and the lady asked me to bring it back. I explained I was far away from them and was unable to come back as I had already sat in the line waiting for my food for almost 15 minutes. She said cutly that we would need the burger back to remake the order. Lol all I could do was laugh and hang up. Make sure your order is correct before you leave.
