It was recommended to me to try Coy's Pizza in Homer City. I heard great things about their pizza and decided to try some place new but the family wasn't craving pizza so we decided to get a take out order of subs. Looking over the online menu, everything looked good and the prices were very reasonable. Let's just say the picture posted reflects my families dinner after trying to eat Coy's. Everyone's dinner ended up in the garbage...it was that bad. It was not edible. I was two bites into my sub before I gagged. The onions on all the subs were disgusting. I ordered breaded cauliflower and got a mixture of cauliflower and breaded chicken. I dont eat chicken. All the dressings I ordered on the side were not in the bag. Its a 20 minute drive so not something i would go back to get. If anything i should go back to get a refund but its not worth the gas money soo i just wont be back. Maybe I will try their pizza someday but highly unlikely...who knows.

I’ve moved away from the area several years ago, and still talk about this pizza and how great it is. This weekend I came out to visit some friends and family and I was stoked to stop by and get some of this pizza while I was here. It still tastes just as great as when I was last there. The crust is robust and thick! Great for how much they load up the pizza with. There’s always so much cheese and toppings that you NEED to have a hearty dough. But it’s soft all the way to the crust. Perfectly cooked and perfectly adorned with cheese and sauce. I’m sad that I no longer live around here so it might be a while before I can eat another one of their great pizzas. So please. Go there for me. And get one pizza of each perogie, bbq chicken, Buffalo chicken.

I LOVE Coy's Pizza. Every time my family is in the Indiana area, my kids SCREAM "DAD, PULL OVER! IT'S COY'S PIZZA! GET ME SUMMA DAT BUFF CHIC!!" and really, I can't even use the excuse "We have Coy's Pizza at home" because we in fact DO NOT! There's simply nothing like it. Something about that home town feel, the crispy crust, and the ranch sauce (more on the side please) really brings it all together. The family service is amazing! Love seeing a Coy behind the counter! Katie was so kind and gave us take-out boxes so the kids could eat it on the way home to Ohio in the conversion van! A must stop in Indiana!

Stopped to get a few slices on drive home from Indiana. Seemed better to just buy a small pizza. When I try a new pizza place I keep my first order simple. Usually pepperoni as the only toppings. Too many toppings makes it harder to evaluate the sauce. And of the toppings I usually order, only pepperoni can have variations on flavor.

Anyway, this is your standard local pizza shop though it's location isn't local to too many homes...but is on a strategic junction of two highways. Clean, well-kept, and quick service...but be warned...pizza is piping hot. I learned this when I hurriedly and hungrily took first bite and a small dollop of mozzarella dripped to my chin and burned me like napalm. Even got a blister by morning. My fault. And I'll take super hot over Luke warm or worse any day.

Crust is good, not the best I've had but better than many. Sauce and pepperoni nicely seasoned. Cheese melted great.

If you are into it, Coy's sells lottery on-line and scratchers... and has two PA games of chance machines (video slots).

Next visit, I'll add green pepper and mushroom and see if I like that too.

Plenty of parking and 5-6 steps up to entrance, but there is also a...
