Amato's Pizza & Pasta — Restaurant in Centerport

I should have listened to the negative reviews, it was terrible, I got grilled chicken salad and the chicken was absurdly dry, tastes like it was reheated for several minutes, why would you even put hot chicken on a salad, the hot chicken made the tomatoes warm too, they also put cheese on the chicken which I am allergic to even though we asked what was on it and they did not say there was cheese, the only thing they did right is that the salad is fresh, my brother got fries and chicken tenders and their fries were heavily overcooked and they said that their chicken was dry too, my parents got cheese steak and both said that it didn't have enough cheese, please don't go here, it is one of the worst places I've ever been to and I've traveled cross country...

My experience at this establishment is the food was not good I got a bacon cheeseburger and it was a frozen patty and the bacon was chipped meat. My friend got a chicken cheese steak and it didn't look appetizing at all. He complained about his food as well. I will never go there again. When my wife and I want good pizza we come here. They make the best pizza we have ever had. Their Chicken Parm with spaghetti is awesome. They make there own rolls for sandwiches that gives them the wow factor we love there cheese steaks. It is a localy owned and operated which we like to support.
