Mountain Stone Inn — Restaurant in Centre Township

Have you ever adventured to Mountain Stone Inn, MSI? It claims to unofficially have the longest continuous bar in PA. The bar is around 140ft long. It not its still amazing bar to stand at. If that's not impressive enough, check out all the wood working, a Harley Davidson bike behind the bar, large menu, a black bear, Marilyn Monroe themed posters, and a McLovin I.D. in the men's bathroom 🤔. Walking outside to the fenced in back patio area, you're greeted by an amazing water fountain. From inside to outside there's lots of tables and chairs. This place has a horse saddle on the bar top. So saddle up and take a ride to this hidden gem. Ladies, you have to check the guys' bathroom out it's Something else.

Just stopped in to get some food and drinks with some friends at 9:05pm on a Saturday night and the bartender told me the kitchen was closed. The bartender, Mojo, took my card for payment and said everytime the card was charged it would be one dollar extra. After he charged my card for our drinks, he came back and asked if we really thought the kitchen was closed that early on a saturday night. It definitely seemed like we were unwanted and unwelcome. I loved this place! I went very early day, so was almost empty. Huge building, lots of space. Pool tables, music, and country vibe. Loved the decor and the feel of the place l, fits right in with the surroundings. The only thing it's missing was the gambling machines.

Food was good service was good. Was really impressed with how nice I thought the place was. I'm surprised that my girlfriend did not like this place. She does not like the country looks and style, that's about it. Overall, it was a great place....
