McDonald's — Restaurant in Ceres

I have been going to this McDonald's for the last year regularly Monday through Friday for breakfast. I used the drive-thru because I'm on my way to work. I order the same thing yet constantly the order is wrong. I order a large unsweetened iced tea only to have the TB sweetened. I come back go through the drive-thru again and say this is the problem only to have them hand me yet a second iced tea that has sugar in it.

This McDonald's is in a really good location and it gets a lot of steady traffic especially during the morning time and during the afternoon time around 3:00 p.m. . Anytime I'm going there for breakfast I have to wait behind at least three to seven cars. Last week I went to order breakfast for myself and a couple other people I had $100 bill which is something I commonly give them and the manager on duty refused to accept the $100 bill. The $100 bill was brand new had the latest technology on the bill it wasn't a counterfeit bill it was brand new yet they refused it.

I rarely eat at Mcdonald's anymore so I can't really rate or compare the food to other Mcdonalds locations, it all tastes the same. I can say my food is usually right, though I did have to go back this last time. What prompted me to write this review are the wait times. I go to this location about once a month or so, and I have never been through their drivethru in less than 20 mins. Even when I am the only vehicle in the drive thru, it's still 20 to 25 min. I don't order a largely convoluted meal either, it's a quarter pounder meal every time. I recall in high school I would eat there fairly regularly and I used to be upset if I had to wait 10 mins. That used to be unacceptable, and when it happened you were usually offered a drink or something for the wait. So I assumed there must have been some policy change and went to good ol google to see what the problem is. Turns out that no, while on average wait times have gone up the average nation wide wait time is still just 3 min for a big mac. So this particular location is simply woefully incompetent it seems. I live in the adjacent neighboorhood so this is a very convenient mcdonalds to have nearby. BUT, probably 4 of the 5 times Ive been here I have received terrible food. Fries are luke-warm, soggy and taste obviously old, the burgers are hastily assembled, buns can be on the stiff and cold side, apples pies DON'T HAVE A "USE BY" sticker and DO have the extra sticky and thick consistency indicating they're old, and the Iced teas sometimes taste very off as if they do not clean the dispenser nozzles daily. The staff is very friendly and they have good customer service, but the quality of food is what it comes down to. Overall, there are more negatives than positives so I would definitely NOT recommend this McDonalds to anyone.
