Taco John's — Restaurant in Chadron

Not gonna say its all restaurants fault my order wasn't 100% right as wife ordered my food and brought it home but I will say this. I've never had a taco from any taco johns restaurant anywhere I've stopped as dry and stale as these where. I took 1 bite into my one of the tacos and immediately spit it out. The shell itself tasted like it had been sitting on the shelf at Walmart for the last 2 yrs before it was used. The meat was dry with no flavor what so ever and guessing and hoping just the fact the meat and shell where so bad that's the reason I couldn't tell if there was actually lettuce and cheese there to because it had no flavor but at this point glad of that because the cheese might as well been powdered cheese as it was super dry. I wish I had caught her name, but the girl working the drive-thru this morning (4/11 around 9:30am) absolutely deserves a raise—and anything else she asks for! She was incredibly kind, patient, and understanding. After the rough start I had to my day (yes, by 9:30 it was already a day), her genuine warmth and positivity lifted my spirits in a big way. It might have seemed like a small interaction, but it meant so much. Thank you for simply being you—keep doing what you’re doing, because it truly doesn’t go unnoticed!

I'm a truck driver and a diabetic. I was parked at the truck stop across the street for the night I called the store before walking over there in the rain storm. So I walk over to get supper and the doors was locked Called back while in the parking lot the young lady that answered said walk to the second window with a line in the drive thru then hung up on me.
