TL;DR: Be adventurous, the Cubana Torta was amazing.
My father-in-law works in town and brought me here while we were visiting them. It was a delight.
I had a little trouble deciding what to try. My go-to since I've become aware of it is Birria de Res but my eye fell on the torta section and I've the last place I tried one at has left a craving in my soul for more.
I asked the waitress for a recommendation when I was torn between the Cubana Torta AAnd the Especial Torta (chicken or beef). And she answered emphatically that I should choose the Cubana as if the difference was a $1 bill or $20. (For this uninitiated, I've included a picture with this review. Will not...
Read moreGreat what I'm assuming is home made hot sauce, not super spicy but not mild, you definitely need to try. Easily best food was the chicken tacos. Not sure how they seasoned the chicken, but they stood out really great compared to the beef and steak which were pretty dull in comparison, also the corn tortillas were kinda soggy. They were out of the hot wings and apparently had been for some time according to the waiter. They were clearly understaffed, but were actually surprisingly fast with the food. The beef nachos were good, though pretty average compared to most Mexican...
