We have been longtime customers of this DQ location and it used to be our favorite in town. Sometime in the past year or more it changed owners, and I will not come here again. We have gotten meals numerous times under the new ownership, and each time the staff has been extremely rude, disrespectful, and combative towards us. For example, we told them when placing our order in the drivethrough that we had a coupon and they said they would tell us our discounted total at the window. When we pulled up, the worker told me the full price amount, and I stated how that was incorrect because we had a coupon. She then told me, with attitude, that I needed to say I had a coupon when pulling up to the window, as if I was putting upon her by saying it only 5 seconds later (this apparently was not the same worker I had spoken to on the speaker). It was clear that basic employee communication was not happening. During another visit, we ordered blizzards. This location used to do punch cards that incentivized repeat business, like buy 5 blizzards get the 6th one free. Well, the new owners quickly did away with this, and we unknowingly asked to have our punch cards punched. The employees (yes multiple of them, through the drivethrough window) gave us a nasty response of how the new owners don't do this promo, coupled with lovely glares on their face. This location also does not do the Blizzard promo of handing them to the customer upside down. They used to, but when I called them out on this they told me (also with attitide) that this is also done at the owner's discretion and that is says so on the drivethrough menu (in extremely small font). Long story short, new owners are cheap, employees are rude, disrespectful, and combative, food quality has also dropped, and DQ traditions apparently don't matter to this establishment. I miss the old days of this DQ and will not waste my money...
Read moreWe've been going to this DQ for awhile now since we live in Mahomet and the one there is closed. At first it was absolutely wonderful staff was friendly and helpful but over the months its changed and I've seen the same staff there all the time. Well tonight went to get a few blizzards for the night, get to the speaker and waited a minute or two ok fine, I honestly will wait if food is good and staff is friendly, however that was not the case. There was a young lady that started taking my order then told me to wait again, when she came back to the speaker i had to repeat what I'd just told her. At the window I don't know if it was the same girl or not but she was very rude and had an attitude, she snatched my card out of my hand and continuously banged the window open against the outside wall. She went to hand me the first of the blizzards and i asked if i could have a drink carrier since there were four blizzards and had to drive back to Mahomet to this she rolled her eyes and sorta slammed the blizzard on the counter to get a lid. I noticed the young man inside also being rough with our other blizzards and jamming them in the carrier....
Read moreSeems like whomever is working has an attitude and willing to argue and get upset because they choose not to listen to people when they order. I repeated myself 4 times about my 4 items that were 2 for 5. He still rang me up wrong, then proceeded to try to argue at the window. Shaking My Head. If you don't care about service, go here.
Update - the attitudes here are absolutely ridiculous for no reason. I went to the drive-thru for four medium cones. Was only rang up for 3, and when I asked for the fourth one was when the unnecessary attitude came from some guy who didn't take or make my original order. He made my cone small, and when I compared it to the other 3, he told me "well those where not made correct this one is she doesn't know I know." He went on to add more on top, but it came out more thin and liquid like, sloppily barely on the cone, and still tried to hand it to me with an attitude. I wish I had a Pic of the cone he was trying to give me. Sorry my business disrupted you. We will not...
