This diner is the perfect stop if you like that real small-town diner feel. It's just about everything you'd expect from a little Main Street diner in the middle of Oklahoma. The service was good, the food was great, and it was served less than 10 minutes after I placed my order. They sell breakfast all day, so I had "the big breakfast." The eggs, bacon, and hashbrowns were perfectly cooked, everything was hot and fresh, and the flavor was awesome. The only complaint I have was that the biscuit and gravy were a little bit disappointing. The biscuit was reheated and a little on the softer side, and the gravy was kind of lacking in flavor, so I had to add a little bit of salt and pepper. Other than that, it was well worth the time and money. Especially since the prices are so reasonable. If I'm ever traveling through that little town again, I'm definitely going to drop back by for one of their burgers and fries. I saw one get severed while I was eating, and it looked and smelled even better than my breakfast plate.

My pal insisted we eat here cuz he loves the place. Usually any burger joint is fine with me. This place wasn't all that busy and was fully staffed yet it took us a minute to find a clean table. Actual we chose the least dirty table we could find. We waited for service. She did clean the table and took orders (menus are adhered to the table so at least we didn't have to wait for menus...tho I had to brush away lettuce flakes to examine a few of the menu listings). Again we waited. I had a burger and onion rings. Really nothing memorable about either. The restaurant itself was sort of cute with 50s mememorabilia and posters lining the walls. Incongruously the house music was country not beebop as one would expect. Last thing, I left a tip. The server seemed dissatisfied with the amount. Nothing she said. More like her expression as she scooped the bills up.

Good food, good service. Smaller place so might be super crowded, so if you don't like crowds you may not want to eat here. I would just suggest patience because either the cook is new or when they are really busy the cook gets a little careless.I had an issue but they fixed it right away, which was good. But I'm sure they will get better. But all in all good experience.

Went in there Saturday September 5th...... I will give them this the burger was awesome food was great........ however the service was was okay....... the waitress was friendly but that's where it stopped......... She didn't check on us she let my drink go empty you never check on us so I never got a refill.......... just a word of advice when I go to a restaurant you automatically start out with a $7 tip regardless if the tickets $5 or $50 and you can improve upon that...... but if you want that $7 to go down to $2 because I don't believe in not giving you nothing...... let my drink cup get empty and it's immediately just a $2 tip......... now let's head to the other thing that upset me I'm not one of those people that think everybody should wear....... masks I'm not one of those people that think that we need to go crazy about this covid-19 stuff...... however you had a full restaurant every table was full it wasn't that way when I walked in I assumed so that my fault that you would be practicing decent safety procedures...... your tables were only two feet two feet apart from one another........ so that there is irresponsible........ I know your small business I know you don't have you have limited space but people safety should be first and foremost.......... have I known that is how you were going to operate I would have never stayed and if I wasn't in the middle of eating my lunch I would have got up and left....... but I feel obligated to pay for it once I start eating it I was going to leave it and I'm not just going to walk out and not pay you....... as boomerangs was one of my favorite places to go when I'm in the smaller towns........ rest assured your particular restaurant will never be visited by me again..... and you cost a lot of the other boomerangs business because I won't go there either............ and that's a damn shame cuz you have awesome food....... and almost always have great...

Last three times I've been there, there has been some kind of problem. The coleslaw tasted nasty and I like coleslaw. The chicken fried steak was about 1/5 batter. So it appears larger than it is. Getting many bites without meat is worse than seeing a smaller steak. Tasted good though.. First time I've ever been presented one with gravy under steak.... Time before, the food was dripping with grease. Yuck. So it's been awhile since I returned. And then the last time I went was all you can eat catfish and when I asked for more catfish, the second serving, I never got it and after at least 30 minutes. I told them I wasn't waiting any longer. They offered to send it and a drink to go. I was walking with two young children. No. It was very busy. Putting an all you can eat on a weekend night is a poor choice imho. I'm a recent ex server supervisor.... I had my young grandsons and they were getting tired of waiting. It was almost their bedtime so I finally just said to charge me for what we ate and I'm leaving. They asked if anybody asked if I wanted more fish, I said yes but it had been a very long tine. Lots of teens came in for drinks. We asked for a drink refill while waiting for fish. Never checked on after that though I saw servers had time. The woman deducted the drink prices and she gave me a fish dinner price instead of all-you-can-eat which isn't a good deal in my opinion. Too expensive that way. That's why I go for all you can eat fish. And she gave me 10% off but it was still just over 10 bucks for like five small pieces of fish, subpar fries and three little cornbread sticks. I like the breading they used to have before and I think this has msg in it but the fish is good. The servers are nice but not seasoned servers. This place hasn't been good since old manager left.... Doubt I go back. Long time...
