Good Neighbor Craft House: A Celebration of People, Food, and Flavor
Good Neighbor Craft House is the kind of place that feels like home, but better. The team is friendly, attentive, and truly passionate about creating an atmosphere where everyone feels welcome. Pair that with their incredible food and drink offerings, and you’ve got a standout experience every time.
What sets them apart? The menu is crafted from high-quality, hand-selected ingredients, and you can taste the difference in every bite. My personal favorite has been enjoying their weekly special. Every week, something truly special comes our way—from freshly selected cuts of meat to inspired sandwiches and decadent desserts. It’s always fresh, creative, and delicious, making each visit an exciting culinary adventure.
Their beer menu is equally impressive. Each brew is thoughtfully crafted and taste-driven, with something for every palate. From dark, robust stouts to bright, crisp lagers, and even uniquely tart sours, every beer is served fresh and perfectly balanced. While I’ve enjoyed a wide variety of beers over the years, the ciders at Good Neighbor have been a personal highlight. Exploring their food and drink options has been such a fun and rewarding journey.
If you’re looking for a place to relax, explore incredible flavors, and feel truly at home, I can’t recommend Good Neighbor Craft House enough. It’s not just a place to eat and drink—it’s a place to connect, discover, and enjoy life’s little pleasures. Check them out and see for yourself what makes...
Read moreGreat place all around. Food is excellent and locally sourced when possible. I am vegan and mentioned that to the person behind the bar who turned out to be one of the owners and chef. He told me he could make me fresh vegetable pasta or something else vegan. I was so happy. In the end I ordered a green salad of local greens and around here that comes topped with fries! It's a thing. He substituted fresh, slightly steamed broccoi for the cheese. The fries were great. Next night was very busy and I watched 3 guys talk about how good their burgers were. The specials looked fantastic. Tons of people in for dinner. I nibbled on the Best pretzel bites (each rook atleast 3 bites!) ever! The beer was local and almost local draft and was very good as well. Locals helped me find the Best Sunset view, other places to stay, discussed books, local history, (owners are also Harvest Hosts) and the people here are just...
Read moreEvery time we camp at Kettle Creek or Hyner State Parks we make sure to stop in here for drinks and dinner one night. Absolutely delicious food and their own craft beers. And at a super reasonable price. You can’t beat it. This last time we got the bbq pulled pork Mac and cheese- and usually there’s just a spoonful of pulled pork dropped on top of the mac ‘n cheese. Not this place! There was practically an equal meat to noodle ratio! Perfect after a full day of hiking. (FYI: Also a dog friendly restaurant.) This place really deserves...
