I just drove up there in a heavy snow storm to get pies for this year's pi-day (March 14th... 3.14) and I also could not resist buying some just-made-still-warm sticky buns (heavenly good). In short, this place is fantastic! Blink and you will go by it. If you are heading North on 11/15, you will pass the town of Liverpool. Go a few more miles and you get to the small park/rest-stop on the right by the Susquehanna river Rapids. When you see the park entrance sign, turn on your car's left turn signal (seriously) and take the next left turn.
After the turn, you have to go about 100 feet and then turn right onto the dirt lane that runs parallel to 11/15. You'll see Weavers ahead of you. What parking there is, is only out front.
Look out for horses and buggies.
Cookies - Their sandtarts are like Grandma makes them only if Grandma happens to be a really good Baker. The baking is done by a whole slue of Amish women. The bakery is usually humming with activity - 5 to 10 women speaking PA Dutch German and all talking a mile a minute. When you enter the rather small customer area, your first thought is that there was some sort of power failure. You would, of course be wrong - Amish, remember? No electricity, but plenty of daylight coming in the windows. There are gas lights, but the sun has to pretty much set before those come on.
As you scan the selection, you might notice that there is only one custard pie left, and as you slide it off the shelf, a little old Amish lady is already sliding the next "last" custard pie into place. Almost always a steady stream of customers.
Cash only please.
Mind, soul and stomach are uplifted here. There is a separate small shop for dry goods. There is a seasonal outdoor spot between buildings for seasonal products, like flowers in the spring. Once I saw a tour bus stop, no tourists, just the driver, he absolutely had to...

OMG were this pies of delight awesome... looking them up online to see where they were located, I was pleasantly surprises to see it was along US Rt. 15 and I pace the place traveling to Sunbury with my hockey team. I stopped on the way home and so glad I did. The country market side was nice and I did buy a few items but WOW, the bakery is where it's at.
The Amish women bake in the day time using gas powered ovens, under gas powered lamps to light the bakery up. There is a large assortment of breads, pies, cakes, stickey buns, cookies and my favorite, whoopie pies in many many flavors.. If you are passing this place its worth the stop. If you drive past this place, its worth...

We bought a 5lb sweet potato!! 4 stars because we bought an end of season tomato that was not good. probably should of thought of that before the purchase. Summer time fruit like watermelon, cantaloupe, and berries are always outstanding every year....
