La Hacienda De Maria — Restaurant in Chapman

From probably the least picky eater out there this was the worst food I have ever purchased. It being a road trip stop I tried to play it safe due to how hot it was in the restaurant and just get cheese enchiladas. After waiting so long in the heat we were dripping sweat, the cheese enchiladas were so cold that the cheese was solid and rubbery and the sauce was cold and tasted like it had come straight from a can with no flavor. After the server was showed the state of the food and that it was completely inedible he let us know that he discounted it slightly. This all after my dad asked for a margarita and was told quite rudely to look at the menu and “pick one” to which he decided to get a beer that they never did end up opening for him. I did however decide to get a classic margarita which ended up tasting like lemonade with salt on the rim and I could not tell if it even contained alcohol. The food was a okay... The servers (assuming father daughter weren't very personable, the grown woman super nice and hospitable!) The servers were only friendly with locals and we were mainly ignored. I asked for water twice and didn't get any until after our food was served. My husband and I both didn't get the food we ordered and I had to send mine back (I asked for cheese enchiladas, no meat. Got cheese tacos with ground beef (I despise ground beef, so I know that I didn't order any meat!) Drenched in iceberg lettuce ... Twice...). The water cup I recieved had food crusted around the rim of the cup. And my husband asked for ground beef enchiladas and got no beef... You would've thought they just gave is opposite orders, but my husband had sunny side up eggs on his and I didn't on mine, so there couldn't be any mistake who's was whose. Edit: it is a few months late but here it is was not too thrilled with the service after going in to sit and eat the lady was not as nice as the first time and my taco bowl was so greasy I couldn't eat it even after pouring a good amount of grease out my husband said his food was good though and it was soo hot in the restaurant I could not enjoy myself sitting there my husband still goes to the food truck in jc so they still get his buisness

Just stopped in while meeting someone and wanted to try the aqua frescas. The lady was so nice and was willing to share the flavor choices with me as I had no idea what I was ordering.
