I ordered from this Restaurant at 10:30 online which is when ordering begins. The order was supposed to be here by 11:15. I call around 11:40 asking where my order is. I am told they had not even looked at the online orders yet today. I ask for my order to be cancelled. At this point lunch is over. I won't be able to eat it anyway. The lady says she will call back. She calls back and refuses to cancel the order and starts speaking another language to me and hangs up on me. I call them back and speak to a manager. The manager still refuses to cancel the order. He said that he wasn't even open at 10:30 so how would he be able to fill my order. I told him that is not my fault that he should probably update his online ordering. That said we will never order form this place again. Worst customer service ever. If I could give zero stars I would.
Update now 2 hours after order was placed. I called back to ask where this food I am being forced to purchase was. A man answered and sated that he was not going to let us have our food and he was not going to refund me either. Luckily the order was placed through Beyond Menu and not them. I contacted Beyond menu and they refunded the money and they are going to contact the Store owner.
I was also told I was not allowed to...

*Old Review from 2015 I used to love the place! Unfortunately, it seems that there are new owners. Before, we considered FP to be slightly more upscale than your standard Chinese carryout. It was less greasy, better quality ingredients, etc. Now, I cannot say that.
I picked up our dinner recently. While the chicken was pretty good the fried rice was covered in old oil smell & taste. Since FP is a 20 minute drive during traffic hour, I just called to let them know that the oil is old. I talked to 2 people who just could not get/understand me before I gave up. We will not be going back. Instead opting for China Star in Dunbar. While China Star may look like a dive, the food is always fantastic and never...
Read moreEdited for recent experinces: The last several times I've picked up have been really awful. Most recently, the spring rolls were just mush inside and out of a whole quart of vegetable lo mein, there was only one small piece of broccoli, no carrots, and almost nothing but noodles. Whatever you do, DO NOT order the chicken vegetables. The sauce is the consistency of snot and really gross. I ended up rinsing it all off and reheating it in a pan with teriyaki sauce. Taking this one off the regular list unfortunately.
This is a hidden gem and hands down my favorite Chinese spot in the Charleston area. The amount of food for the price is outstanding and it's always full of flavor. My go to is the Singapore Chow Mei Fun and nobody else's can come close to how delicious it is. The crab rangoon is off the charts delicious as well. Every time I order online it is ready quickly...
