It’s crazy that I haven’t done a review for this place. I have been going here religiously for years. I was sad to see Suzies go from here but this was a reasonable substitution. I have been here countless times because it’s so good and so close to where I was living at the time. It never fails to satisfy. I really like the Popeye and any of the quesadilla options. But the fajitas are also very good and the chips just taste the best compared to other restaurants in the area. Maybe I’m wrong but it just has a certain taste that I really like. Sometimes I’ll grab a jarritos on the way out to top off that Mexican meal. The bar is really inviting and I’ll eat here by myself a bunch when I am just wanting good food but want to be left alone. The staff is very good and understand the orders generally and I have rarely had any issues. But my girlfriend has a difficult picky order that can be confusing. As for me though my food was right every time. Customer for life pretty much and I’ll probably see you again in the...
Read moreOur waiter did not speak English. It was almost impossible to order what I wanted. We tried to tell the waiter for a long time. The cheese dip was cold by the time i was done ordering.
We ordered kids quesadillas and they came several minutes after our food. That's a first. Usually the kid's food comes first or at the same time.
Another staff member came over to help a few times. She came after we had been trying to place our order for several minutes. We made sure she repeated the order back to us and it was correct. The man submitted the order and we were served the wrong meal.
He never refilled our drinks. We were done eating and waiting waiting waiting to pay our bill. He was wrapping silverware in the booth next to us but we couldn't see him. We had flagged down that lady who then told him to help us. They must've been desperate for wait staff.
The menu was expensive. Seemed like...
Read moreI hope this review is taken constructively. I ordered a veggie burrito. As a vegetarian I was so excited to see a veggie burrito that I didn’t read the ingredients thinking it would be a no brainer to have beans and rice and veggies in the burrito. When I got my burrito I see a white creamy sauce.. all over it. Okay no problem. Then inside of it is boiled zucchini, broccoli, and cauliflower.. and white plain rice… beans??.. no where to be found. What gives a vegetarian a substitute for protein are the beans. What gives flavor to a veggie burrito are the beans… it seriously has been the worst burrito I have ever tried. I haven’t tried anything else from the menu but given their poor veggie options I don’t think I will be ordering from here again. Let alone a plain tasting $12 burrito. Sorry I hope they can improve their...
