We enjoy visiting this place and love their outdoor area! They have cornhole, boccei, and a good amount of outdoor seating along with indoor seating. We love their garlic parmesean wings as they were fully loaded with parmesean! We added blue cheese to dip the wings too which was delicious! The pretzel w/beer cheese, Cesar salad (though it didn't really include deviled eggs but hard boiled), and burgers were great too! I got the big cheese burger (no bun; trying to watch my carbs) & my husband got the bacon blue burger. We order medium for our burgers typically though we prefer medium rare. However, medium rare makes the burgers way too soggy for our liking with the bun. We also love their truffled fries but all of their fries are great for the most part! They have a good kids menu too! My son enjoyed his hot dog and fries. I also got the margarita special which was good! My husband got a Coors light which oddly tasted like there was lime in there. Service here is okay. Our waitress didn't even introduce herself so I didn't even know she was our waitress until she took our order. Our last time eating there was in August and there were tons of flies outside which was annoying for us but next time I'll bring a fan to help try to deter them. We have also tried the beef stroganoff which was different compared to others and we were not impressed. Overall, we enjoy this place!

It has taken me a month to think about this review. We live in this wonderful town and prefer to dine out at our local restaurants. Unfortunately, 3 strikes and you are out, is our motto. We tried really we did. We always leave extremely satisfied with our meals. It's just getting a table with a smile that keeps us from entering The Rathskeller . Thankfully the food is excellent, But YIKES, their wait time is extremely frustrating and their weekend hostesses are poorly trained and quite rude. If you want to dine with more than 5 in your group, hold onto to your watches. We were told 30 min, then when the first hour passed, we kept getting brushed aside saying 5 more minutes for another 40 min. This was not a one time experience, we went 3 different dates in 3 different months. The last time, was our last time. The manager explained they cannot sit 6 people except at one specific booth. ( this was explained after our first hour wait) unfortunately, I lost my cool when the young hostess rolled her eyes at me. (Even as they sent her to our table to apologize, she continued with an arrogant attitude). However, Immature of me, I could not help but discuss manners with her. Absolutely ridiculous of me, right? Once seated , The management sent over numerous appetizers to appease us. Eh... Our compliments to the chef! Our palates are always amazed and pleased with the wonderful food that is prepared. It is is an awful shame that the management had us leaving with a sour taste in our mouths. The pictures do not do the flavors justice. The risotto was perfect as was the asparagus. Everything, was tasted by all because we could not get over the incredible tastiness, the melt in our mouths unforgettable flavors of each plate on the table. Unfortunately, I forgot to photograph the roasted beet salad, which is a group favorite. However the portion seemed quite smaller than the last time. Kudos to the chef and kitchen staff. Again, I say, YUM...DELICIOUS! My wish for the restaurant is to recognize their up front management (having such a young staff deal with such large crowds may be too overwhelming for them) and of That their lack of accommodations do not have much for parties of 6. We watched 2 parties of 8 sit after us. Go figure Side note: 3 of our dinner companions are lunch regulars and known by all the staff. It's a shame they have not returned to their neighborhood restaurant since then. Apology accepted, but we dare not put ourselves in that hungry, time wasteful position again.

Excellent fries!!!! Generous portions! Fun atmosphere. huge lobster rolls. This time around I got a huge salad and nachos were excellent. Live music on Friday night was a jazz trio that sounded fantastic. Cool. Not too packed, wait was 20 minutes for a table and we had drinks at the bar. Huge pretzel w cheese sauce made. A great dessert
