TACOS GARCIA — Restaurant in Charlotte

They kind of been falling off lately.. the tacos don’t hit like they use to. The last few times I went they were not seasoned well and greasy.. knocking off a star for being inconsistent. Might be time to find a new taco truck.

Original Review I have been here countless of times to make a thorough review. I have only tried the tacos on Taco Tuesday and 90% of the time they’ve been amazing! They load them up and top with onions and cilantro; on the side they give you a grilled jalapeño, grilled onions, lime and salsa. The pastor taco is my favorite, it’s the perfect combination of sweet and spicy. The chicken taco can be hit or miss with the seasoning but still good. Steak taco is delicious and usually seasoned well. The campechana (steak and chorizo) taco is flavorful. The barbacoa sometimes is a hit or miss but when they remove some of the fat from the beef it’s the perfect taco!! For the salsa, green is medium spicy with avocado in it. The red is good too but if you can’t handle heat, I would get the green one! As one reviewer mentioned, it would be nice to get extra salsa for multiple tacos. For 6 tacos I get 2 salsas and they will charge extra for any additional. Overall this place is...

Chicken taco awful, cold little pieces of meat looks like tuna. Not getting what you pay for. No grill onions like I was getting before, dry, not juicy like before. Barely give green peppers and no grill onions gave the onions . Will not be going back. The so call manager hung up on me when I was explaining the issues...

Tacos are good real good but,why do you guys(Garcia) tacos expect people to eat tacos with out salsa? Are the chiles to expensive or what? No mexican should serve tacos to another mexican with half spoon of salsa for damn 5 tacos,i mean you charge 3 dolars per taco why do people have to beg for freaking...
