La Cantina Arcos – Chatfield, MN

Stopped in on a whim during a drive through on a work trip and couldn’t have been happier!

The service was absolutely excellent — friendly, fast, and genuinely welcoming. The food somehow managed to top that. I had the Arroz Texano on our waiters recommendation — a sizzling mix of steak, chicken, and shrimp — and it was nothing short of fantastic. Every bite was bursting with flavor, perfectly seasoned and cooked just right.

If I could give this place 10 stars out of 5, I would. Great atmosphere, great people, and seriously great food. Easily one of the best Mexican restaurants in Minnesota!

The Margherita was so very good! I added a bit of cotton candy just for a cool picture lol. The tres Leche cake though while it was pretty good, it wasn't fresh and had to have been sitting a couple of days and was dry which it shouldn't be soaked and it shouldn't be dry. But it should be moist because you know 3 milk cake lol. I like that this place wasn’t blasting the music too loud and also I was not overwhelmed by too much decoration. I tried fajitas for lunch today and it was good! The sign outside is hard to read at night. My only suggestion to the owner would be to make the sign outside a white background or lighter color instead of navy blue and make the letters bigger so people driving by at night know what’s there.
