I will try to make this concise. Terrible experience, terrible customer service. Never ever received my order, and nobody cared. Quality has also been declining. Papa John’s used to be good, but they are going downhill fast. I currently live alone, car is in the shop and has been there too long and thus I ran out of groceries. Ordering pizza for delivery made sense I thought. Called, placed an order with a call center which seemed it was in India. After placing the order, they put me through to an automated payment system, which apparently doesn’t work very good. I put in all my payment info as asked, down to the zip code, but it just went silent afterwards. No confirmation of payment or anything. After a couple minutes of silence, it hangs up on me. I call back and pressed the option to check my order status, and a young man said there was no order placed under my phone number. I call back and pressed the option to place an order again, and explained to the call center (not Papa John’s) that I placed an order and entered all my card info, but it went silent and such. They ask my name, then silence. I thought maybe they immediately just put me on hold and was maybe checking for me. But they didn’t ask me to “please hold” or tell me they were gonna try to find my transaction or anything, which is unprofessional. After about 5 minutes of silence, it hangs up on me, AGAIN. Didn’t even get a chance to place a new order if needed. I call the local Papa John’s store again, this time pressing the option to speak to a manager. A girl answered, and I asked “is this the manager?” She paused and said “no” and sounded confused and annoyed. Apparently pressing the option to speak with a manager simply puts you through to the main store line where anyone can answer, which is a red flag to me. I said “I pressed option 5 to speak with a manager. She said “hold on”’ sounding annoyed. A young man answered that sounded like the person I spoke to before under the “order status” option, which sounded like a teenager or early twenties possibly. I imagined she put me on the phone with a driver or whoever was closest. But I give the benefit of the doubt and ask “is this the manager?” And with a little hesitation and a reluctant tone, he said “yes”. I asked him for his first name. He refused to give it to me, which is extremely unprofessional and is another huge red flag. But I explained what kind of trouble I was having, and he basically doesn’t offer any help at all, and sounds as if he simply doesn’t care and just wants to get off the phone with me. Managers do not act and talk this way with customers. Not even an apology. I suppose they feel if they don’t give their name, they’re avoiding any and all accountability. He only says “place a new order”, but can’t tell me anything else, like if I’m gonna be charged twice having entered all my payment info already, or what happened with my first order, or why I’m having so much trouble. How is it possible that I placed an order and it doesn’t show anything in their system at all? I honestly don’t think I spoke with a manager, especially since he refused to give his name. Read moreCompletely and utterly disappointed with this location. We have been long time Papa John fans and I called and placed an order to go totaling $41.20. After picking up the pizzas and returning home I find out after telling their server who answered my call, and requesting no mushrooms that there were mushrooms all over the pizza. I am 30 minutes away from this location, so I called and spoke with the manager, and the manager wanted to argue that it was my fault for ordering the pizza with mushrooms, even after I told him I was allergic to mushrooms, and wouldn't ever order a pizza with mushrooms. He would not say that perhaps there was a mistake new they simply weren't at fault. So basically after a 10 minute conversation between him myself and my wife, we were told they weren't going to do anything anyway. A word of advice, if you order from this location make sure to check your food before you pay for it because the customer service is extremely poor at this location. Okia kinda normal for where I live... well I waited up till 9:30 nothing.. my tracker wouldn’t load either so I called the store 3? Times no answer so I waited up a lot longer .. so around 11:30 I got an notification that it was on its way .. waited up for another hour nothing. I finally started to get extra tired so I went to bed... this morning I get up around 5am of course I look outside just to make sure I didn’t over look it .. cause On my tracker it says delivered ..
