I wasn't a regular when this place was previously open, but I did eat here multiple times, and I have always LOVED the Ranger Burger. So, imagine my disappointment one day when I learned that it had closed down for good! However, when I learned that they were coming back, I was beyond excited. I couldn't wait! So, when I found out when the grand opening would be, I made sure I stopped in to eat. And, MAN, it was so good! I was seated almost immediately, the service was prompt (both improvements from when it was previously open), and I got my Ranger Burger and fries in less than 15 minutes. I made sure to savor every bite, it was so good. I'll admit, I wasn't sure how I felt at first when I learned that it was now going to consist of 4 quarter-pound patties instead of 2 half-pound ones, but luckily, I was able to smash it down enough to fit it into my mouth. My only complaint is that it was a little on the salty side, but that's nothing that can't be fixed. I even got to talk to the new owners, and they seemed so proud to have revived the restaurant, as well they should be. Although I thanked them in person, I just want to say again: Thank you, thank you, thank you, for your service and for bringing...

same location. some small changes inside. Staff were all very friendly, and the place was clean, food though left much to be desired sadly. my son and I both left more than 2/3 of our meals uneaten. it hasn't come close in the last three attempts at reopening. I remember the place when it had old indoor outdoor carpet in early 2000. ( current owner, vet group previous, the basketball player..) nobody has done it justice in the last 10 years. I commend them for trying, but just not there. nearly a 40 minute wait for our food, with only three other tables. ours were cooked well done, dried out and tasted like they were made yesterday, or maybe this morning and sort of warmed up. Cheese barely melted. the equivalent of less than one full piece of bacon ( two strips about 2" long). room temp fries. it's a long drive from Phenix city, or even Columbus for what we got. they've got a long ways to go before earning the reputation that comes with the "Ranger Burger" brand. I genuinely hope they make improvements or they're going to struggle like the last...

The last time I was at Rangers was 10 years ago and the experience was wonderful. However, in May of 2024, the establishment is not the same from the food to the overall experience. First and foremost, the catfish that I ordered was not drained properly and there was an immense amount of grease left on the plate (see attachments). Next, the fish was not cooked thoroughly and was still pink (see attachments); and when I relayed this to the waitress and addressed both issues she said sorry since we were their only customers for the day (at 2 pm). I even had to use napkins to remove the grease along with another plate for the fish because the original plate was full of grease. Surprisingly, the waitress did not try to repair the issue at all. Additionally, the light in the men's bathroom by the sink was inoperable. Moreover, there was no mustard on the tables and there were dead flies all in the windows along with flies that were flying around the table. Unfortunately, we had to pay before the food came out and thus, I would love my money...

Ate here on our way to see andersonville national historic site. Werent sure they'd be open from Google info until we pulled up and saw the open sign. Burgers were huge and very filling. I didn't even get a side with my burger but my son got the fries and wife onion rings. Both were tried and delicious! Meat tasted like it was seasoned. Buns were not your average. We'd go back given the opportunity but it is a little far for us.

Amazing place. Don't let the outside appearance fool you. The inside was clean. The people were so nice. The food was next level delicious. The burger was humongous. I will definitely get the junior next time and I'm no little guy. Meat cooked to perfection and beautiful seasoning. I can't even tell you how good the onion rings were. Oh my. I'd travel 2 hours just to eat here again
