New Garden Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Cheltenham Township

This place RAWKS!!! As you all know, with Covid 19 sweeping the area, many restaurants are either shut down entirely OR takeout/delivery only. About a week ago, I discovered that virtually EVERY Chinese TAKEOUT within a 3-4 mile radius of me (I'm in Fox Chase) was shut down. NOT New Garden!!! And their lunch special (Tues.-Fri. 11am-3pm) at ONLY $5.75 includes Brown Rice at NO EXTRA COST, now that's a bargain!!! A few years ago this was our go-to place for delivery, as the quality of the food was even with a few standouts. Last night ordered General Tso's, Lemon Chicken, and Cheese Wontons. The Lemon Chicken was decent, with a different coating than the usual poofy batter that you see, but the General Tso's was extremely weak, with a watery, flavorless sauce. Ordered Friday lunch at work to treat myself. Boneless ribs, and General Tso's chicken with pork fried rice. Rice was good that's about it.
