Huddle House — Restaurant in Cheraw

Upon entering, every table was dirty. Heather cleaned a table for us. Another waitress(no name tag) came & brought silverware and idicated she'd be right back. Before she could return, Heather came to the table w/more silverware, which was wet and not clean. The first waitress told Heather it was her table and heather told her to just get some clean spoons.We asked for some sweet & low, which Heather never brought. We finally asked another staff member who promptly brought it. When our food arrived it was mostly right. After Heather sat our food down, she never once returned to the table. We would have liked more coffee, but was never offered any. At checkout, I addressed my issues with Heather and she stated she was trying to make it around.I told her that there was hardly any customers in the place and there was no excuse for her not checking to see if we wanted anything. The waitress who first came to our table apologized and asked if we'd like some coffee to go. Heather acted indifferent and never apologized for providing terrible service or her bad attitude. The whole place was a mess. Behind the counter was disgusting.(I have a photo.)The trash was overflowing, garbage on the floor. I asked if they had pancakes and was told "they been cooking burgers & stuff on the grill so you may not want that". I was a waitress for over 20 years and I eat out several times a week. This was one of the worst experiences I have had in a very long time. I could understand if the place had been packed, but it wasn't. I can't remember a time when a waitress didn't come back at least once, no matter how busy she was. I cant say I'll never go to HH again, but I certainly will NOT return to this one and will warn anyone going that way to think twice about...

I'm in town visiting family and thought I'd order delivery from Huddle House since it's only 9 minutes away from where I'm staying. I ordered directly through Huddle House's website and received no message that delivery or pick-up weren't available. I got a text from Door Dash that my food would be delivered at 12:42pm. Around 12:30, I started getting texts from the Door Dash driver that Huddle House no longer does Door Dash.

Apparently, this Huddle House has been out of to-go containers for some time and because of this, can't do pick-up or delivery orders. While I get that Huddle House probably wants to have their corporate to-go containers, I find it hard to understand why they haven't come up with a temporary solution to accommodate pick-up and delivery orders.

Also, why is delivery and pick-up still available on their website? If I can't order delivery, why did you let me?? I felt so bad for the Door Dash driver who went all the way to Huddle House for this order just to have to go back and forth with me via text and not get fully paid for the delivery.

My biggest complaint is that Huddle House didn't reach out to me after I placed my order to let me know what the situation was and that they couldn't accommodate me. They left that up to the Door Dash driver who had nothing to do with their to-go container shortage. And because they didn't reach out to me, I sat here waiting for my food until 10 minutes before it was supposed to arrive when I could have already have had made myself something to eat had I known right away that a delivery...

I'm a native here in Cheraw and This establishment has really went down over the years. Being a breakfast lover in a small town, this is my go to place. I have this as a 2 star rating because the employees do not answer the phone for call in orders, they are very rude in person and over the phone. Today was the first day I ordered online because I could not get anyone to pick up the company's phone. My first and last time!! The wait was longer than expected! My food had to be remade because the order was incorrect. Once I received my food, my "to go" boxes had holes in them from the grease, bacon burnt, eggs over scrambled... this is terrible.. Any time I ask for a number for the manager, their response is to look on the internet. If I ask for a number to their Corporate office, I am told to look on the internet. If no one else is going to speak up, I will. This is very unprofessional business and this is the LAST time I'll spend my money in that...
