We came here on a Tuesday at 2 pm. The parking lot was completely empty and we were unsure if it was open. After debating, a dirty dog comes running up to us. A nice surprise I guess. Is he the host? We eventually make our way in and after waiting a couple minutes for our party of 8 to sit, we see we were the only people inside. A woman shouted from the other side of the room to seat ourselves. This included grabbing ourselves menus, as nobody would’ve if we didn’t. Our waitress eventually wobbles over eventually with a knee injury. This isn’t her fault and she was kind, but we had to be patient with her. Three of our guests ended up helping her with the glasses, drinks, and pitchers of waters because it was just hard to watch. It was taking long. We put our order in and eventually a young boy took over the rest of her shift. She never said goodbye or thank you before leaving. When the food comes out, he forgot our sides that said came with our meals on the menu. He didn’t seem sure of what the menu says because he was confused when we asked for it. Our food comes out. I ordered the cranberry chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries. The chicken was extremely dry and the sandwich itself didn’t really have much flavor. My sweet potato fries were undercooked and basically raw potato. Someone got the bbq onion ring burger and sweet potato fries. Their fries were burnt and burger was burnt on the edges. But had good flavor. He only ordered it medium. Everyone else’s were just average. Nothing special at all. Prices were decent for the food quality. We will never come back here. We stop next door into the country store. Half the lights were off and nobody was working the register. We walk around and notice the candy was expired and so was the Neosporin. This was absolutely disgusting to see- it was expired some time ago too. We came to the conclusion this place was disgusting. Also, a family member who wasn’t with us but dined here months ago said they had a poor experience. They said they paid a cash tip but the rest of the bill on the credit card. He was charged a tip on the card still. When he called the place, a woman said she’d look into it and never got a call back. After no call, he ended up calling the credit card company and reversing the charge. We decided to pay cash to avoid any issues. Again- we won’t be coming back… and do not recommend coming here. Place is cute inside though- cabin vibes, welcoming, cozy, nice wall decor. Outside the restaurant was nice as well, a pond and a nice view. * note* My photo of the expired Neosporin won’t upload. It expired 01/2023 and we went here 01/2024

My wife and I decided to try KC Peppers today for lunch. Our server was Scott, and he was very friendly. We ordered apps while we decided on the entrees. We got our drinks shortly after, and then we had to wait for 30 minutes before we were checked on again for a refill. At that time we got our apps and then we immediately placed our orders. We then ate our appetizers and waited for a while again before we got our main courses. My wife is dreadfully scared of bugs. I personally didn't care about the carpenter ants crawling around us, but my wife had an ant in her sweet tea, which just ended any possibility of redemption for the restaurant at that point. The food was above average in taste, and the presentation was sloppy. The floors and walls are dirty, stained, and covered in dust/Cobb webbs. I think I'll just stick with the places I know to be good in the area.

First time I’ve been here and I really liked the atmosphere and decor inside. The staff was incredibly helpful and attentive. I wasn’t over the moon about my delmonico steak, perfectly cooked but no real prominent flavor. The sweet potato fries were incredible and I had a really good balsamic vinaigrette salad. Everyone else loved their food and I will definitely be going back to try some other menu items. We also stopped in the country store next door which is a small store for their campgrounds and the 4 year old was excited to see some arcade games and quarter machines. Overall it was a really good experience and won’t be our last.

I use to work there a while back and might I just say it hasnt changed one bit the boss doesn't care about her staff she acts like everyone is just some disposable garbage if you try to ask for days off she fires you and when your sick she makes you work or tells you that your going to be fired there's mold all over the place and the pay is just not right it is suppose to be a 5 star restaurant but cooks are making 15$ an hour when they should be making 20$+ an hour waitresses barely get paid a good pay and have to depend on mainly tips and dish washers make 10$ an hour when they should be making at least 15$ an hour for how that restaurant works its not worth working for an employer that treats her staff like garbage nobody should have to go through as much stress as the boss puts her workers through and no worker should be treated the way she treats her workers they are people not disposable garbage and now you guys have the answer to why she is always looking for people to work its a sit down and eat restaurant not a fast food joint so why is fast food joints employees making more money then a 5 star restaurant? Also treat your staff right becuse according to the drama I still to this day hear about the place I heard the boss was yelling at one of the best workers that worked there with me and even threw rotten food at her and was calling her fat and...

The service was good but it wasn’t great! Things to improve: more organization at the waiting area, we were waiting before a big group behind us and we were not even asked if we were a different party. The smell in the area we were seating was a little funky, it can be improve by cleaning the tables with sanitizing solution instead of sprays. When busboy was cleaning the table next to us, the rug was absolutely disgusting, you are supposed to use clean rugs with sanitizing solution for this areas. Busboy was leaving the kitchen munching on fries. Waitress was attentive and checked on us but forgot things we asked her for,(Lemon and mayonnaise) we were never given water. The sangria specialty was ok but very watered down it literally tasted like water with a drop of moscato, so it wasn’t great!! Food was great, we order Italian wedding soup, calamari and prime rib sandwiches, don’t order the kids chicken tenders because it was awful my girl couldn’t eat them the crust was too much and hard to bite, not good for a 5year old. I hope this helps because we really want local businesses to succeed and to have...
