3 Amigos Mexican Restaurant Hickory — Restaurant in Chesapeake

I am a resident of NC, have always been treated with the utmost respect from the Elizabeth City 3 Amigos, I have also been to the 3 Amigos Great Bridge and have never had any issues. Twice my husband and I have eaten at this location on Battlefield and have had issues with a long wait for food even though restaurant is empty, also with rude servers. Tonight took the cake, my 4 year old great nephew wanted to go out to Mexican after his T-Ball game that was at the SCAA field so we decided to give this location a shot again. Our waiter Steven seated 6 plus high chair at a booth and was rude when we asked to be seated at a table for more space. Continued to have an obvious attitude from that point forward. A side note the women’s bathroom toilets were covered in feces as well. I asked to speak to the manager his name was Michael, told him my concerns and he did not even apologize. Wowwww!!! As native Arizona'ns it's very hard to please us when it comes to Mexican food. This place is absolutely wonderful in every way possible. Upon entry, we were greeted and immediately sat at an over sized, CLEAN, booth next to a window where we received prompt service. Our server, Fernando, was kind, efficient, and correct. He took our order without writing anything down and we were very impressed when our food arrived without any issues (we have a teenage girl in our party-not an easy task 😬🤣). When the food arrived it looked as great as it tasted. Sooooo so good and the cooks and servers were all doing their jobs with no air conditioning on a hot summer day, while maintaining positive attitudes. They even came and checked on our food 3 times (each time a different person) lol my daughter said it's "annoying" but I think it's awesome 🥰 I love the extra care we received and we will definitely be back.

I come to this location a lot and I love the food and ppl. this is the first time I had an issue. There was an issue with the menu and they didn’t carry a dessert anymore. The manager wasn’t there so they couldn’t even refund me. Unfortunately it was an order through google and there was no way to request refund.

They asked me to come in two days later for a refund bc she’s the only one that can do a refund. That is not acceptable. They were not apologetic at all. I don’t care how good food is, if service is bad, then I don’t want the food.

Also since I had to get on their phone and argue with the manager, my nachos got soggy. I asked three times if the food was fresh bc I had been waiting and they assured me it was. I went to the car and checked and it wasn’t. Very very...
