Always a go to place for my husband and I. Great food and beer. But this visit was the ruined because the woman bartender clearly only cared about the regulars. From the moment we sat down it was blatantly obvious. First the lack of service just to ask if we would like something to drink. At least 5 plus minutes ticked by. Never ask if we wanted another drink. Then the our food order. Simple Skins, Burger, BBQ Chicken and side salad. Food doesn't come, no skins no salad, no drink offer for another. Yet the bartender waited and tended to all others around us. People that came after we sat down. All of those patrons getting food and her service. Last straw when the guy next to me gets soup....with in minutes. After 20 plus minutes I asked what is up with our food! Bartender says I don't know. Proceed to kitchen and is back there for awhile. Comes back with my salad and claims there cooking our dinner and skins will be out. And all came out together. Now I get local place lots a regulars, but you could still be professional. She may not know me or my husband, but we have been going to your restaurant since the early 90's. This is the first time I've experienced preferential treatment as deplayed at any restaurant, pub or food service establishment. After a long stressful day all we wanted was a nice drink and dinner. Instead of more stress, lack of service and work just to be offered a cocktail. Then compound the zero food order. Ruined the evening and experience of going out for a bite after working a long day. Reach out and talk to your people because it's obvious this person needs a refresher course on how to treat people,...
Read moreI have been here many times before. I ordered to go food Saturday night at 5pm and asked for a pick up time for 7pm as I have done in the past ( all I had ordered was the Chester with no cheese and quesadillas grande) . I arrived at 7:05, the host looked for my order, didn't find it but charged me for what I had ordered and said he would be right back. 5 minutes goes by he comes back, he tells me they had a lot of phone orders recently, and that they had new staff and that it would be a little bit of a wait and offered me to sit and have a drink if I would like. I understood it was busy and being short staffed and didn't mind waiting for a few minutes. 20 minutes goes by and I realized they had probably forgotten to put the order in at all, and I asked again, he apologized and advised that for the inconvenience I wouldn't be charged for the Chester, to which I had explained I already paid, he said it would be take care of and taken off my bill so I said thank you and waited again. At 7:45, 45 mins of waiting for a 7pm pick up it was ready. I left, went home, the Chester had cheese on it after I ordered it without. I tried to call several times and the number was busy so we finally gave up, threw away the sandwich and had to make something else for dinner. Today looking, the host didn't even take off the charge he had orginally said he would. Needless to say I won't be back for a while if at all as the service has...
Read moreParched and Confused: A young single girl walks into a bar (no, this is not a joke...) A young single girl walks into a bar and is "greeted" by the bartender, "CAN I HELP YOU!" While she thought this was an odd way to be greeted she still replied sweetly, "Can I have a dinner menu please?" But the bartender yelled at her again, "A WHAT!" And then it registered (I think) and a dinner menu was thrown on the bar before her. The girl is left wondering what it is that this person behind the bar thought she wanted. Well it wasn't a drink because she still didn't have one nor was she asked if she wanted one. In fact there were no implications whatsoever that drinks were part of the near future here at this bar where she sat. Instead, she was treated like the 18th idiot that day who couldn't find the scotch tape in aisle 4.... After several minutes the bartender returns and stands there, so unbelievably bothered by the young girl's presence and waits for her to speak. The young girl asks for wings and the bartender yells "HOT!?" as the young girl is still putting in the rest of her order. She wonders if it was heard but still waits to be asked if she would like a drink. Several more minutes go by and she is still parched. But she thinks she's lucky. At least this person hasn't taken her credit card yet. What a relief. So she walks out and goes to Wendy's.... The guy who served her there forgot a straw but at least he...
