When I walked in, I immediately felt like I was in a local, southern restaurant. None of the feeling of a chain restaurant - this place had lots of local pictures, news articles, and decorations. The long tables encouraged a sense of community, almost like going to a church potluck. The server was pleasant, there were lots of options on the menu, and I was treated respectfully. It was nice to sit there and watch people interacting and going on with their lives.

Slapping a new coat of paint makes it look nice but they need to hire people. Today it took 1 hour to get 2 burgers with fries. I requested extra crispy fries. They were pale & not cooked all the way. There was a pile of grease where they dumped them on plate without draining. I got up to pay for our drinks & suddenly our food appeared. My burger was cold .
