Sub par mexican food that is way too expensive for what you get. $5 for a very small side of guacamole, the burrito fell apart and was more like a flat sandwich, the tacos looked like something from taco bell, and the chicken tortilla soup was watery and lacking flavor. The woman at the front counter was a little snooty (although the gentleman who was serving people on the patio was very nice so props for that). Overall a disappointment. We wanted to like this but it was a huge lack of value.

honestly some of the best mexican food i’ve ever eaten - now this was a proper chicken enchilada (delicious sauce, well seasoned juicy shredded chicken, not soggy, good beans and rice)! puts many spots in SF and LA to shame. we also got fajitas and a quesadilla and both were delicious and large portions. horchata was also fire. a shaded, outdoor patio with a beautiful view to top it all off. def stop by if you’re driving through!

Loved dining here after a long, tiring day at Burney. We tried a bunch of dishes—verde enchiladas, chicken tacos—but our favorites were the pork taco, chicken fajita, and shrimp taco. Highly recommend grabbing a seat outside and soaking in the beautiful view while you eat plus you get free nachos and salsa to enjoy while you wait for food.

This place is 1000%, undeniably consistently BOMB. Considering the food quality, prices, service and environment it is the best restaurant in this entire Intermountain area, imo. There are a couple other Mexican and non-Mexican cusines around, but they don't come close. The food is outstanding here and the service is always exemplary. The food is perfect EVERY TIME and sooo delicious and satisfying, with great presentation. It's evident that they take pride in what they're doing. Everyone who works here is happy and always very polite and they haven't messed up any orders to date. Its family owned and operated and we just adore the whole family. The food is also fresh, it never makes your feel gross, nor heavy nor yucked out. They have a stunning view of the a valley on their patio, you'll want to eat out there. Their menu is extensive. They even have burgers and stuff, but we never get that bcuz who wants a regular old burger when they have a huge selection of amazing dishes. We go here at least once a week and they have...

Can you say TAMALES!!!! OH MY GOSH ABSOLUTELY HANDS DOWN THE BEST TAMALES I'VE HAD IN A LONG TIME. They are moist meaty and delicious. The guacamole is made fresh on site and is so Yummy that you can't stop eating it till every spec is gone. This is a small family owned establishment and even though the decor is lacking and the AC needs to be turned on higher, the food totally makes up for it. We can't even drive by without stopping in every single time we go past this restaurant. I've been there about six times in the last 8 weeks. I don't frequently eat out but the food is so good you just can't help yourself. These folks work very hard and the most important part of any restaurant is the food itself. Also, I believe that people in customer service should be kind and helpful. Every single member of the family or anybody that comes to your table is both of these. The restaurant is always busy so I know the food is fresh. I love this restaurant!!! I give it A+++++I'll take a picture and add it to my...

Out exploring the mountains around Mt Shasta and got hungry. Stopped into Ortega's based on lack of options and good reviews. As many Mexican restaurants go this is a family run business. It is small and cozy and the servers are friendly and polite. Chips and salsa were very good, with the chips being light and crispy. Tried the Chicken chimichanga based on others reviews and found it to be good.... not great but good.

The amazing dish was the fried ice cream.... I have tried many and most taste stale like they were made yesterday. This was fresh and crispy like it was made to order.... I highly recommend it! A single scoop of vanilla ice cream covered in something like crushed corn flakes then deep fried. This is then put into a fried flour tortilla "bowl" and the whole concoction is sprinkled with sugar and cinnamon with a dollop of whipped cream on top and drizzled with...
