Green-Lantern Bar — Restaurant in Chestonia Township

Pretty bummed with my first experience. Called in an order & since we'd never been there, we just looked at the "menu" on their website and then ordered two standard "bar food" items - a chicken strip basket and a chicken club. Chicken strips were nothing special, and no dipping sauce was included or offered. Also, the basket was supposed to include a choice of french fries or onion rings, but we were not asked and just got the fries. The chicken club was not a chicken club - when I got there it was a wrap & I asked them to replace it with a sandwich. But I still didn't get a chicken club sandwich - I got a grilled chicken breast on a kaiser roll, a couple pieces of bacon, American cheese, lettuce and diced (??) tomato. The waitress/bartender told me that she had to call in "reinforcements" & it would be a few minutes...but never offered me a drink while I waited. She was very nice, but seemed like she might be new. The best thing I can say is that the food was edible, but frankly, we both would have rather had the Buttermilk Crispy Chicken Sandwich from McDonald's...and it would have been a lot...

Came in from chicago on our motorcycle & took all the back roads. This was the first bar & grill we came upon. As usual we like to always stop in for our first beer when traveling to new places. 2 local customers & the bartender Alissha. We were warmly welcomed. We spent 2hrs here, grabbed a few beers & burger and potatoe skins. The beer was ice cold and the food was perfectly cooked. We had a great time with just the few people here. I would definitely stop in again. Thanks Green-Lantern for the great hospitality....

Cute place with its own character. Nice staffing, quick kitchen. Pretty good food too. I recently moved to the area and haven't ventured much past normal fast food or a quick meal out. Decided to try green lantern after a old coworker suggested it. I don't regret it. Will be a normal customer...
