Something about Stevens County eateries that I have noticed is servers are either unhappy or they are really great!

Makes a huge difference when eating out in these times. Even affects how you feel about eating the food you are served!

That being said, we went to Sporty's last night for a late dinner. The waitress approached and she was sweet as pie! Like you could genuinely feel she was a happy person. I looked around and there was people playing pool and the most amazing jukebox! All kinds of different music. Then my most favorite meal arrived, the nachos!

I being of Hispanic decent love Sporty's damn nachos because they use real cheese and the jalapeños are fresh and spicy! The whole combo all scrambled up taste amazing! They have 2 sizes and I ordered the small which is enough. I even took the left offers because I didn't want to leave a jalapeño behind. Haha

We had been looking forward to trying this place for a couple years as we always drive through town for work. We stopped in today and the sign says seat yourself, so we did. We sat for 15 minutes, while 3 more tables came in and seated and got served. So we got up and grabbed our own menu. Then we got the waitress' attention and asked for waters. She said yeah just a minute and got another waitress to bring water. We continued to wait for another 10 minutes and all the other tables that had been coming in after us were being served. I guess they didn't want our service since we had been sitting there for 25 minutes and they weren't busy when we walked in there were 3 tables, so we got up and left. Had the employees been just a little bit friendly and said anything to us at all, we would understand that they were going to get to us. But they weren't, the girl acted bothered that we asked for...

This is the second time I have visited this establishment. I was told that the burgers were decent. I was not impressed with the burger I had the first time, and a local mentioned that they had specials on Friday. We decided to give it a try. It was still pretty early & they were out of the special. I tried a burger with bleu cheese and sauce with a side salad. I found a hair in my salad. The burger was ok, but did not have anything else on it other than the sauce, bleu cheese, & burger. I get that they were busy. If you don't like working with the public , don't be a server. There were no pleasantries from our server, and another that walked by had a scowl on her face. We will not...
