The Old Home Place — Restaurant in Chillicothe

I used to live locally, but now I am a good deal away. I still make special trips just to come here occasionally. If you are a traditional cook, looking for wonderful deals on base ingredients and bulk goods this is your place. I do not know of any other store selling some of the very hard to find ingredients.

You can find wonderful products like local raw honey, dutch cocoa, various types of wheat berries, millet, gluten free items, quinoa, canning items, kitchen equipment, and many more things.

They are also an excellent place to purchase lovely gifts as well. The prices there are not marked too high either. The kitchen dry goods are excellent prices and I don't find anything cheaper most of the time, even online.

Absolutely worth a stop if you are in the area, I even recommend driving out of your way...

We’ve lived in Ross County for about 6years now and I had no idea this was here until my husband and I were on our way home from WCH earlier this week and saw it from US-35. Such incredible customer service. I called today inquiring about bulk flour. I spoke with Keith and he answered all of my questions. He is checking with his distributor to see if he can get in a specialty King Arthur flour for me. But he also took the time to check their regularly stocked flour and gave me the specifications to compare with those of King Arthur. He was very gracious and patient.
