Jed's Sandwich & Catering is a happening little place in Chino Valley. Known for their lunch favorites; each sammie has a unique name reminiscent of country culture, and they use all different breads, wraps, and bagels. Your meal comes with your choice of chips or homemade potato salad and a fresh baked chocolate chip cookie. Orders are placed at the counter, and there is a small diner if you plan to stay and eat. I had the cowpoke today. It's a good-sized wrap with plenty of pastrami and crunchy lettuce. The zingy red peppers and cool Chipotle ranch had a hint of spice. Layers of red onions, tomato, and a slice of cheddar cheese. I chose to have potato salad, creamy with lots of dill. I didn't go away without a sample of one of the goodies-of-the-day; the raspberry coconut bar. This dessert was a sweet and tart treat. I stumbled upon Jed's Sandwich Shop & Catering and I'm pretty sure it's the sandwich gods' gift to Chino Valley. From the moment you step in, you'll feel like you're at your grandma's house, but with way better sandwiches. And don't even get me started on the potato salad - it's so good it should have its own fan club. I ordered The Látigo and The Hefeir sandwiches they were just amazing!

But the real kicker? Each meal comes with a chocolate chip cookie. I mean, who needs a significant other when you have a sandwich shop that provides you with dessert?

So frustrating. Half the time they are closed for catering. So if you find them open you can then expect them to ignore your order while you wait for takeout. 45 minutes waiting in perso to get sandwiches that were soggy and cold. People came in ordered and ate in person before we got our order. My husband had to ask twice where the food was and they kept saying it's coming off the grill. By the time it shows up the sandwich is soggy and cold. No apology no credit. The guy made a girl in the back bring it up to avoid my husband. What a joke. Owners should be ashamed of the horrible...
