Fiesta Mexicana Restaurant & Taqueria — Restaurant in Christiansburg

We have so many good Mexican restaurants in Christiansburg that you really have to go above and beyond or do something special to stand out. The location of this restaurant is a nice change, however the service and food are mediocre. We went for an early dinner and the place was empty besides one table. The host set us right beside the one group in the building. We could not even pull out our chair because we were so close. We got one drink refill the entire time we were there. Again, the place was empty, multiple staff members were sitting at a table. Food was ok. Salsa bar needs to be added upon or rearranged. Looking very drab. Not horrible but a worse experience compared to places like El Gran. I got the briaa tacos and they were very odd looking and not the best. Would give zero if I could. Every Mexican restaurant I've EVER been to has ground beef tacos. Not this one though and it's the only reason I took my child. Did they tell us when we came in? Nope. Ordered cheese dip and went to wash hands but no soap. About 5 min after informing them and ordering drinks a girl went in to change the soap. Another 5 min and I thought she came out. Nope, still there. A guy came in with more soap. After it was all said and done neither could figure out how to change the soap so they left some in a cup. Frustrated I ordered a hard shell beef taco for her which they don't have. I was done and asked how much for the dip and drinks. Just guess. $13! I said I want to-go cups, poured our drinks and left. Plenty of choice words I can't put here but won't be back. Went to El Bronco and had the same thing plus two tacos. $13. This place can't go out of business...

Waited 10 minutes to even get chips and have my drink order taken. The table was very sticky. And really not impressed with the ACP. It really does not have much flavor, very bland. Also the rectangle plate is hard to eat from without making a mess. The cheese dip is also pretty bland. Tastes like mostly like milk or cream in my opinion.
