A Lovin Cup — Restaurant in City of Cortland

We were in Cortland for a football game and found this fantastic coffee shop a few blocks from the college. The owner, Chris, is super friendly and involved in all aspects of the coffee and food preparations. He took the time to explain to my daughter and me the variety of options and the healthy ingredients in each. We decided on breakfast sandwiches (huge, amazing, fresh - should have shared) and two different pastries. The blueberry scones were so good that I bought two - one for my son and one for my husband who were coaching the visiting team that day - and even though they ate theirs in the evening, they said the scones were still fresh and delicious. But maybe the best part about this cafe is the homemade coffee syrups! My daughter and I both chose maple and it was incredible! Quality homemade coffee syrups are hard to find, but those at A Lovin’ Cup definitely hit the mark. Should we find ourselves back in Cortland, NY for any reason, we will definitely return…maybe this...

Stopped in on a whim and it was well worth it. Immediately captivated by the relaxing and comforting decor and music. From the wood bar to the fresh baked goods this place is exactly what all local coffee shops should be. Got a dirty chai, Carmel macchiato, and a gluten free scone. The coffee was very very good and balanced and the scone was the best gluten free scone we have ever had. You could not tell it was gluten free and the blueberries were nice and fresh. Very appreciative to have a local spot like this in Cortland. Will be back for sure, especially to listen to the...

I'm surprised to see so many 5 stars to be honest. Decided to stop and try A Lovin Cup one day with a friend and the vibe was so uncomfortable. We walked in for the first time and instantly caught who I am assuming is the owner being extremely rude to a customer. The gentleman was simply asking a couple questions and the guy behind the bar was rude and it was extremely uncomfortable. We ended up leaving because of that and we didn't feel we'd be able to sit there and relax. I likely will never go back because of that experience. Hopefully all customers aren't made...
