I just want to start by saying I’m a server and have worked in the field for over 10 years. I understand the work load of a restaurant. That being said, it can be very overwhelming and mistakes happen, I get it. However, my experience today at this restaurant was extremely disappointing.

To sum up this review, the food was ok. The customer service is ABSOLUTELY botched, and is the only reason why I will never return, and encourage others not to either.

I came with 2 friends and we ordered coffee. There was no cream on the table and servers weren’t around so had to take some from another. Not a huge deal. Had to ask for waters afterwords which was also fine. Our server forgot to bring us the water so 5 minutes passed, we asked again. Forgetful again, waters weren’t brought until 20 minutes after when our food arrived. There was a LARGE piece of plastic in my water. I initially thought it was a piece of egg until further examination. I just want to point out that this is physical contamination. With no straws given to us, drinking this water without realizing the contaminate could have resulted in choking, and much worse. Our Server never returned until we ate all our food, she just tossed the check on the table and walked away. Not acknowledging anything, there was no “anything else I can grab for you today?” “How was your meal today?” Nothing. She didn’t even look at me. So I waited til she walked by again to grab her attention, and told her there was plastic in my water. Her reaction was normal and she took my water away saying “omg how’d that get in there.” She never brought me another water. Came back to give me change, though. I have never wanted to undertip a restaurant before until now. I never reached out to management considering the amount of mistakes that already happened here today. Went there today at before 11. Ordered their garbage plate. After fully 45 minutes, with the person I was eating with’s food came JUST the burger patty and fries, and the waitress said the macaroni salad was coming. It took at least twenty minutes, if not more. It was also a tiny side bowl amount, not a garbage plate amount. She tried to act like it was a good thing somehow that it was “made to order,” aka they forgot they didn’t have any. Didn’t even get it free even though I eventually just took it home in a take out box because there wasn’t time for me to eat there, just got $3 off for the macaroni salad. Everyone’s food was very slow and arriving at weird times. Kitchen was slow and disorganized, and the waitress wasn’t really doing her due diligence either. Would you not warn someone there wasn’t macaroni salad? I’d have ordered something else. Nevermind that I could’ve made my own faster than that. Place itself is kind of gross? Least ADA accessible bathroom I’ve seen with stairs up to the toilet and a lock that’s hard to get back out of. The entrance/exit door opens backwards which seems like a fire code violation? It wasn’t terribly clean. Building is kind of ramshackle and maybe damp? The food itself was adequate when it showed up, I guess, and my dining buddy had corned beef hash that looked decent. But are you serious. Made to order macaroni salad. No one is that stupid, that is a make ahead food. You need more staff and you also need more competent staff.
