Mugshotz — Restaurant in City of Pewaukee

After reading other reviews and our experience this morning, its obvious that they dont really want other patrons besides locals....walked in, bar was almost full so walked in back to see if open table in back, there wasn't so sat at table right by bar. Waited and waited and ZERO acknowledgement. I walked up to the bar and BOTH bartender/ waitresses never acknowledged me or made eye contact. I had to say "excuse me" 2 times after the 4 of us had been in the joint for over 12-15 min just to get a menu. Not one "hello, welcome, what could I get u to drink" NOTHING. SO....we look over menu and when ready to order I'm trying to again make eye contact or get the 2 gals attention.....NOTTA! Meanwhile as I again walk 4 feet from our table to the bar, in walk 4 adults and a couple kiddos who clearly are locals. I'm still at the bar looking to get drinks (over 20 min in) and she quickly clears a spot at the bar and I hear her say "what can I get ya"! HELL NO!

I know, most would've walked out then but I tried to be patient. FINALLY I get her attention and with zero smile, zero personality I HAD TO BE THE ONE TO SAY CAN WE ORDER A DRINK PLEASE! and do we order here or is there a waitress that takes the order....like pulling teeth!! "Nope, you order here" then dead silence.....Dear Lord, wheres the service!?? Place order and 50 minutes later still no food...she walked by 2 times never acknowledged us never even glanced at our table. The 5 people at the bar (no clue when they ordered but we were there easily 20-25 min before them) got their food and were done before ours came. 75 minutes after entering this place my fried egg burger was soooo red/undercooked my bun was soaked w blood. I had asked her when I ordered if she needed to know how I wanted my burger her reply was "nope"! Ahahahaaa...should've left then. I pulled most of the burger out of bun and ate the cooked meat on edges as I was starving and didnt want to wait another 45-55 min for a burger and fried egg.

We were headed back to Madison from a weekend in Milwaukee and googled bar and grill on the water....we had family from out of state and wanted a place on the lake. Zero view of water from inside and no outside seating. Just hoping I dont get I'll from the raw burger. I was amazed at the lack of service to being even down right rude. Dont waste your time. Very disappointed. Bar looked fun if...

We were in the area for a couple of weeks and are trying out one restaurant per day. When we got to this one, it seemed like a nice local place, had plenty of customers. Nobody acknowledged us for 10 minutes at the table, and I figured maybe i have to order at the bar or they were just too busy. Went to the bar and i was unacknowledged there for a bit as well. We finally ordered from the bartender and she was maybe the rudest person I've encountered in Wisconsin. Her whole demeanor was very off-putting. I ordered an appetizer and two meals. Waited around for a while (not terribly long) and had to basically beg to get another beer. Food came out. Never got the appetizer because the kitchen made the wrong dish. When she asked if I still wanted it I said "no I already have a meal and I don't need an appetizer afterwards" she walked off mid sentence on me twice while I was talking to her and made a comment the second time when she was walking away as if I did something by not wanting to wait on an appetizer I didn't need anymore. We ate and the food was delicious. Went to pay for our meal and my buddy paid cash for his. I told him I would get the tip. So he left the leftover dollar bill from his meal and left. The same bartender seen he only left $1 (not knowing I was leaving her tip) told me to give it back to him and I told her to keep it as I am signing my ticket and she said "no, please give it back to him" like it wasn't good enough for her... Honestly, it was more than she deserved after treating us that way.

I will never go back. That's not how you act towards people you've never even met before and we did nothing wrong besides pick that...

I don't know where to start. It took the bartender a good 5 min to acknowledge us. After making out with the so called manager on duty, she asked us what we'd like to order. When bringing us our drinks, she admitted she was super drunk and giggly about it. We ordered our food and watched the game. We spent the next 45 min waiting for 2 burgers to be cooked as we watched the cook eat from our food. It was disgusting. He was a new cook and this is what he does?! We mentioned something to the bartender and she was to drunk to comprehend anything so she ran off and had her heavy bf come over. He never apologized, simply gave excuses on what we actually saw. He told us that all cooks taste test as they cook. But the fact is, we sat there and watched him. He didn't even let us eat in peace. He didn't take anything off for anything. I was boiling mad and he didn't know how to handle customer service crisis. I left no tip, as I left the bartender dropped an F bomb on us for no tip. It was so un professional. A drunk bartender swearing, and her manager bf who was placing bets on something with buddies(fake), and a rookie cook. Talk about a first and last experience. I wish I saw the other reviews first because they all are equally or worse experiences. I recommend not stepping foot in this place, unless you want unsanitized food, and serviced by crackhead and drunks. Nothing resolved, I wouldn't take pride in working for the place. 0 stars...
